Meslier 7: Hope the kid is ok.
Ayling 9: Shaky first half like a man possessed second.
Dallas 6: Got done a few times first half could concentrate on attack most of the second.
Forshaw 8: One of his better games. Ran with the ball much better tonight and was looking for that killer pass more.
Llorente 5: Was getting run ragged with the rest of the defence first half. Injured again.
Struijk 5: Crap first half. His head seems to have dropped a little and he's gone back into that shell abit for me.
Harrison 7: First half he drove me crazy. Every thing he touched turned to s**t including his corners. Much improved second half and including his goal.
Klich 6: Steady enough in his new role. Got a whack on the cheek bone i think.
Bamford 5: Nice to see him out there and he took up some good positions. Always plays like he is stiff and missed a sitter, should defo have hit the target.
Rodrigo 8: Lively and inventive throughout, one of the only bright lights first half. Cracking goal using the defender to deflect the ball. That is good skill.
James 6: Some wasteful passes but he worked like a trojan and must be like an annoying fly to play against.

Subs
Greenwood 3: Harsh on his debut but i kept having to look for him on the pitch. I'm not even sure where he was playing. Chances will be limited i think.
Koch 7: Steadied the ship a little at the back and then kept things under control in the center. Still need more
Klaeson 6: Poor kid looked like the proverbial rabbit.. A lovely punch that seemed to go unnoticed and a cracking tip over at the end. A long way to go.
Cresswell 7: I have said it before this kid is a Pontus protégé. He is immense in the air. Him Koch, Struijk Ayling gave us a real pressence in the opposing box.... When we didn't waste a set-piece that is.

Meslier- 6. . Hope he is OK.
Ayling-8. Defensively dreadful but awesome offensively
Dallas-5 . Defensively awful and didn't have the impact offensively Ayling did.
Llorente-4 . Awful, positioning was awful, passing was awful.
Struijk-3 . Same as Llorente but worse, no idea what's happened to him.
Forshaw-6 . Was on the pitch but did he impact the game? Not really.
Klich-6. Meh, same as Forshaw really.
Rodrigo-7.5 . Snatched a goal, got on the ball alot and was bright but didn't create anything of note (no chances created today).
Harrison-.7 . Awful first half, gets a point for the goal and actually was a threat 2nd half.
James-7..End product will never be good enough, works hard and tries hard and was involved in goals.
Koch-8 . Thought he was excellent tbh, solid and played a role in the goal.
Greenwood-5 . Didn't do anything really but was involved in the goal.
Cresswell-7 . Solid

Sporadic viewing 1st half but saw most of the 2nd half so scores based on this:

Meslier 5: bad injury forced him off the pitch let in two goals in the 1st half so not sure, therefore average score
Bill 8: fabulous driving display and goal to boot - who cares about defence.
Llorente ?: dunno.
Struijk 5: seemed reasonable to me but by all accounts had a poor 1st half.
Dallas 7: got in some great tackles - great attitude as usual.
Forshaw 6: runs a lot, keeps things ticking over but that’s all.
Klich ?: no idea.
Rodrigo 7: very impressed with him lately seems to have gone up a gear
Harrison 7: neat footwork, clever play, hard tackling - that’s what we need.
James 7: not always successful but runs very quickly and causes problems for the opposition.
Bamford ?: dunno.

Greenwood 5: minor involvements but unfortunately the game passed him by somewhat.
Koch 6: stood up well
Cresswell 7: looks the part - a big imposing unit, takes no prisoners and will be a star of the future.
Klaesson 7: what he had to do he did very competently - couldn’t have been easy coming into such a match!

These Jekyll & Hyde performances are so difficult to rate

For example:

I'd probably would have given Ayling 3 in the first-half, however 9 in the second-half

3 + 9 = 12 divided by 2 gives Bill an average rating of 6

How could anyone give Ayling 6 after the man drove us to an unexpected victory in the second-half?

7 Meslier Played well enough before being clattered.

8.5 Ayling Led by example second half. Was like a man possessed.

6 Dallas Caught out a few times round the back. Defensively poor.

7 Forshaw Steady away. Kept things ticking over without being spectacular.

3 Llorente Oh dear. Terrible performance. Positional play all over the place. Looked uncomfortable.

4 Struijk Marginally better than Llorente. Poor

7 Harrison Right place right time for his goal.

6 Klich Some tidy play but couldn't get into the game before being unlucky with the injury

5 Bamford Looks off the pace. Devastated with the injury.

8 Rodrigo Another good game. Looks rejuvenated under Marsch. Took his goal well.

7 James A nightmare to play against. You never get a minutes peace as a defender. Still lacks the required composure.

Subs
5 Greenwood Contributed to a goal but overall anonymous

7 Koch Did well playing 2 positions in difficult circumstances

7 Klaeson Acquitted himself well. Showed composure under pressure

7 Cresswell Battled well and kept Wolves at bay.

Meslier 7 - some poor distribution but no fault for the goals
Ayling 9 - drove us to the win, never stops running, harrying and pushing, absolutely gives his all for the club all the time and you really saw him drive us forward in that second half
Dallas 7 - poor first half, but got better in the second as we started to dominate
Forshaw 7 - kept the ball ticking
Llorente 3 - was all over the shop, and has been for a while, at fault for the first goal and him getting injured may have helped us win
Struijk 4 - marginally better that than llorente but also all over the shop defensively
Harrison 8 - really came to life with some great play at the end of the game
Klich 7
Bamford 3 - injured again...and looked poor when on the pitch
Rodrigo 8.5 - like luke, really drove us forward, and added that bit of quality on the ball
James 7.5 - always a hassle, unlucky with a great lobbed effort
Subs
Greenwood 5 - was he even on the pitch?
Koch 7 - improvement on llorente, some good interceptions
Klaeson 7 - looked ok, made some crucial saves
Cresswell 7.5 - what a unit this guy is, looks a good prospect

Meslier - 6.5 - Did OK whilst on the pitch, couldn't do much about the goals.
Ayling - 9 - Led by example. Took the game by the scruff of it's neck and is Leeds through and through.
Dallas - 6 - Poor first half, but much better second half.
Forshaw - 7 - Did his job just fine. He's not meant to be the attacking flair but to receive and recycle the ball which he did more than adequately. Will be interesting to see where he fits in under Marsch once KP is back.
Llorente - 4 - Not a very good game from Llorente, but on watching the game back recorded, I am not sure he was as bad as some make out. He was OK against Norwich a few days ago.
Struijk - 5 - Bit better than Llorente, and grew into the game in the second half like most of the back-line.
Harrison - 7 - Put in a shift, which he always does. If you watch the goal it was a hard one to put away as it was an awkward height, and the kind of shot that is easy to shin or knee over the bar.
Klich - 6 - Steady if not spectacular until he got injured.
Bamford - 5 - Feel for him getting injured, and hope it's not too serious. He does lead the line well (we didn't concede with him on the pitch in the last two games, and the team were the better in both games when he played). Should have done better with the shot to the near post.
Rodrigo - 9 - Beast again. Not sure what has happened to him but he's re-born. We're going to need him to stay the same and bring that quality on the ball to the remaining games.
James - 7 - Causes all sorts of problems for defenders, but just wish he would go to shooting school. Fix that and he'd be world class.

Subs
Greenwood - 6 - Tough game to come into, and he will have learned a lot from the game. Marked 6 as he got an assist.
Koch - 7.5 - Thought he played well, after having a poor game against Norwich.
Klaeson - 8 - Stood up when it counted and another one who came into a game at a difficult point. Made some good saves and put his body on the line with that punch. Clean sheet so why not an 8?
Cresswell - 7.5 - Cresswell was excellent, marked down a half point as he made a couple of early lunges which could have cost us (ironically one of them led to Jimenez being sent off).

Meslier 6 - Couldn't do much about their goals

Ayling 8 - Passion, grit, determination and a goal. Great performance.

Llorente 5 - Pretty suspect at times. One to forget.

Struijk 6 - Stuggled in the first half but much better second.

Dallas 7 - Can't believe he managed to soldier on to the end. Not taken such a clattering since Burnley away and like then, was on the receiving end of some nasty challenges. Thought the one from Moutinho was it? Looked terrible and he didn't even get booked. Stoic performance.

Forshaw 7 - Similar to his Man U game in that he struggled to get a hold of and get into the game at times but got better and got us forward more as the game went on using the ball well. Put in some thunderous tackles.

Klich 6 - Another victim of an incredibly physical game.

James 7 - Unlucky with his lob but it led to a goal anyway. Workmanlike as always. Good effort.

Harrison 7 - Not a great first half but good in the second. Started the comeback with the goal.

Rodrigo 8 - Always wanting the ball and did plenty with it and covered lots of ground. Looks to be loving life under Marsch. Was he just poorly managed by Bielsa? Possibly. Is he actually good but inconsistent? Possibly. Can he be a consistent cog in Marsch's wheel? Judging by his recent performances, I hope so. Great game.

Bamford 5 - Hope this won't be another serious setback.

Subs:

Greenwood 6 - Not a bad game even though he went unnoticed at times. Did enough for me.

Koch 7 - Good for the most part. Good passing and put himself about. More like it.

Klaesson 8 - Made a few really good saves when called upon to ensure we took all 3 points. Great stuff considering where we were when he came on.
