Re: Watford v Leeds Utd Match Thread - Koch in for Forshaw

As I said before, comfortable and jittery - in equal measure
Klich has been the only one with a cool head when in possession.
Thank God for the quality strike by Raphinha.

Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 2:52 pm We are very poor. Hoofing from the back aimlessly, picking up scraps from Watford’s mistakes, little composure going forward. Nobody seems to know what they’re supposed to be doing or what’s expected of them.

No reference to Bielsa, but if this is Marsch-ball the future is not bright.
You'd better get used to it Carrick.

I dont like the narrowness of the system or the lopsided nature of it tbh.

One switch of play and you are at risk.

Need some width down the left, playing so narrow makes for turgid unattractive football.. Have Dallas/Ayling crossed the halfway line?

His easiest game for four years.
He hasn’t really got forward and hasn’t needed to as there is nobody else there.
He’s had harder training sessions.

More players out of position then there ever was with Bielsa ... and without the excuse of injuries really

Kalvin on for Koch, push Klich forward, James and Raph wide and Gelhardt on

Ayling has but when he does, Koch leaves DM and goes to RB!

Ayyling. We have been playing long diagonals to try and find him in the corner, he hasnt the control imo,
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

Should be on the hour unless he's carrying an injury

So Watford can ignore the left side with no LW and Dallas staying home

Not watching but the lack of width seems a big concern for people

It's a wierd set up, I'm assuming trying to nullify Watford, not that much press, very narrow, players out of position more than they were when in man ...

Klich's pass goes nowhere as Harrison goes walkabout... poor from Harrison

We're in total control, look like we can score whenever we want.

But i really wouldn't advise you to watch this crap live Swan unluess you got Beta blockers to hand. Apart from a touch of class from Raph i haven't set eyes on their keeper for 45 mins.

I've seen Meslier for 42mins.
Thanks Kenny
