Re: Leeds Utd 1-1 Brighton - Post Match Chat
Yes, like i said the players need to take it into their own hands if we are to play anything like a team, because this whatever it is is shambolic, the single biggest thing he has brought is luck and we need masses of it over the next few days if we are to postpone this relegation for a year, i still think our biggest chance of staying up is Burnley losing both and Lord help us if we need to win which we're gonna have to try and do anyway.
Brighton could and should have put that game to bed, we scraped a point through throwing caution to the wind in the last 10 mins and a moment of individual brilliance.
Fingers crossed for a full Villa side and Burnley don't park the bus, which they will.

Great listen
Brownie spot on about the lack of a striker for nearly the entire season. Short sighted in the extreme. We needed at least a loan back in January.
Also agree that the Leicester game was the last time we looked good. Why didn’t JM just tweak it from there?

Yeah seems like 1 tweak then 2 then 3 until we are where we are.VinnysTattoo wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 4:12 pm Great listen

We were out of the bottom 3 until the tweaking started, put the oil away, like Raph going out wide on his own, let the boyz do it the way they've been taught, it's the only way we look summert like.

Brownie is the main reason I watch The Debrief Vinny, a footballer himself, attends Leeds games, knows his stuff.VinnysTattoo wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 4:12 pm Great listen

His opinions on Raphinha, Gelhardt & Firpo spot on too.

Yes, never miss it Leon
Always great content from the 3 amigos.
I liked the way Kagey identified that our expectations have sunk so low this season that we get excited when the lads make it past the halfway line "Ooh this is better, this is good!".

And the way we set the bar so low with our average players when they have put in an improved performance.White Riot wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 12:29 pm Yes, never miss it Leon![]()

Exactly mate. The cheers for Rodders for the short pass were ironic, but they're actually not far off being genuine when we've sunk this low.
I was lauding Forshaw for his efforts this season
I like the guy, he's shown incredible determination to come back and play in the EPL. But he's not up to this standard and never will be. So for Radz to tweet he was our new signing was reflective of Radz's arrogance, naivety and ignorance of what is required at this level. It also put unfair pressure on Forshaw, what a crass action. Forshaw doesn't have a creative bone in his body, he can hold the ball and pass it 4 yards and that's all folks.
So were they seriously thinking him, Roberts and Klich would be able to compete with the likes of Jota, Eriksen, Olise, De Bruyne, etc, they're not up to handling Jonjo Shelvey never mind them lot
We've reaped what's been sown this season

Yes James, small mindset thinking & we'll deserve whatever comes our way if we end up in the championship next season.White Riot wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 12:49 pm So were they seriously thinking him, Roberts and Klich would be able to compete with the likes of Jota, Eriksen, Olise, De Bruyne, etc, they're not up to handling Jonjo Shelvey never mind them lot![]()
