It's all very odd.

They are proud and full of praise for Shrek despite SG rightfully pointing out many managers have done better from the same position.

But most weirdly of all . . . .

They are still utterly convinced this is all the fault of some conspiracy theory involving the EFL.

Such a naive and arrogant bunch

Oh dear how sad , never mind. They only survived last season thanks to last day events elsewhere, I'd say justice has been served today , The Granny S*****r will obviously not be to be blame simply because like Fat Fwank he's one of the chosen ones who the media fawn over despite the fact that their record isn't great

Derby supporters will have a Siege mentality next season.

Just like WE did in 2007 under Dennis Wise

Yes, Derby breached FFP and fiddled the books and they should be held accountable.
But none of that is Wayne Rooney or the players fault.

They, as a club deserve this relegation. But Rooney and the players never gave up, and i give them props.

I don't believe in kicking in ANYBODY when they're on the floor.

Do YOU Remember how it felt when we were in League 1? I do, it was bloody awful, and embarrassing.

FAO, Any Derby supporters reading this thread i will tell you this, Don't give up, you'll get back.

BUT.... YOUR CLUB DESERVES TO BE RELEGATED, BECAUSE YOU CHEATED.

And as a fanbase you laughed about the cheating whilst it occurred, because for awhile it seemed like you would get away with it.

Karma.

Hope they don't fold.

One thing having a rivalry but these clubs are supported by ordinary people and are the heart of what are often run down communities.

Not their fault that so many of them are run by unscrupulous gits like Mel Morris(who is long gone) who take such risks with the clubs future.

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

I would have every sympathy with a club that had been screwed over by a scummy owner (I do remember what that was like).

If the Derby fanbase had shown a shred of self awareness and humility and held there hands up as a group and said "yep we deserve this this is our fault as a club" and took it on the chin.

However they have done nothing but moaned and whinged and played the hard done by card and blamed Wycombe and Boro and the EFL.

Despite the fact that through the cheating they were able today to field players like £10million Krystian Bielik who they still owe £8million for.

Or £7million pound Tom Lawrence who has scored 11goals and got 5 assists this season without which they would have been down weeks ago (hardly fair on other teams that is it).

Or Rooney himself, how much has he cost?

The club have cheated and manipulated and used unfair means to gain unfair advantage for years.

The Derby fans were only to happy to revel in it (remember the EFL on strings thing when Morris sold the stadium to himself) when it was going well even though they knew it was bent (£80mil ffs).

The players and Rooney did nothing that others haven't done far better at before, see no reason to laud them either.

Sod em all.

All I will say is I don't want them to fold, be relegated to the national league fine, but not fold

The whole “spygate” incident was handled very badly by all concerned, the Football Authorities and the Club alike. It was blown up out of all proportion, the flames being fanned by the media via their darling Lampard and Derby County’s pathetic and pompous, false victimhood. Obviously the Football Authorities, looking for any excuse to stick the knife into Leeds United again, made the most of it, drew it out to an inexcusable extent and made damned sure it would adversely affect our promotion challenge that year.

Absolutely no sympathy for Derby County Football Club!

We had -15 and made it to the playoff final
Eddie Howe kept Bournemouth up on -17
Rotherham stayed up on -17

If Rooney wasn't so useless, Derby could have easily stayed up.
not at all comparative, Derby have barely been unable to sign anyone and continue to be under huge financial pressure on a daily basis (if I'm right at one stage Rooney was/is paying for the away team travel)

he's done a fantastic job under the circumstances - not really an argument there. whether he is a good manager or has just thrived under these difficult circumstances, we shall see

Derby were relegated because Mel Morris broke the rules & cheated.

If we are relegated, it would be down to our own deficiencies within the team/management.

I believe we'll be safe.

Bielik 10m Lawrence 6m, plus loads of solid and experienced Championship players. It was hardly a team of 16 year olds and freebies from non league, as Sky want everyone to believe.

Mel Morris was an oily snake that slithered down every hole to find cash to finance his ambitions.

He walks away from the mess like every owner who has cocked it up. Just like our own Peter.

Being reported that the deal by Chris Kircher to buy Dorby will collapse today, hopefully sending them into liquidation

Why? They are a community club and many people will lose their jobs. It's not a Chelsea/Man City type blood money club.

Some of our fans really need to get over spygate and move on.

Agree but I'd rather see them relegated out of the EFL on the pitch.
