Massive step up to the PL, absolutely massive, camara would have been my choice also, but, adams probably won't start every week until he;s blooded, then again, pre-season is all about gelling.

Amazing to me how many of our so-called fans are happy to name new players crap without having ever seen them play. Welcome to the club, Tyler!

I’ve seen Adams play for the USMNT and, more importantly, Marsch has seen him play a lot. He’s a fine player and will do well for us. He represents a step up from Forshaw or Koch, certainly, in the DMF.

I agree with you 100% on this. It's mind boggling to me. Adams is a year older at 23 but has vastly more experience for both Club and Country. He has over 100 appearances for RB Leipzig. Which in case anyone has forgotten is a Champion's League quality team in a top five league in Europe. When healthy he has been a regular starter since he arrived in Leipzig. Until the 2nd half of last season when the new Manager declared he was no longer in the plans. We have no idea what that's about. And I won't speculate. But he was a first choice player for Rangnick, Nagelsman, and Marsch.

He now has 40 caps for 14th ranked USA and regularly captains the side. He is one of the first 3 names on the team sheet whenever he is available for selection.

By comparison Camara, age 22, has just one season at RB Salzburg. Some Champion's League appearances. And he has 15 caps with Mali ranked 46th in the World. Not a bad start, but he still has much to prove.

Don't get me wrong. I rate Camara very highly and would like to see us sign them both. But Adams is clearly the more experienced player and logic says he's more ready for a move to the Premier League. And the price tag is lower.

Still on the fence though.

Made the mistake of reading an RB Leipzig forum for view on Tyler Adams.

Wish I hadn't.

He is spoken about in the same terms Tyler Roberts is on LUFC forums.
In visiting that forum you have probably done more research than the clown.

Although if any Man City fans came on here to read our KP thread then they would think they had signed a very one dimensional player that only looked good because of the ex-manager.

Thanks Paul. I can’t pretend to know much about Adams, as you’re in the USA I presume you’ve seen a lot of him, including playing for the USA, so I’ll respect your views.

Tyler Adams said all the right stuff in the interview and I do believe the club have done their homework! If he was jesse's main target then it has to be good. Sure him and Marc Roca will suprise us all in the DM slots. No disrespect to the other signings (so far) but I honestly believe we have a potentially world class player in Marc Roca...

Well Jesse you're getting your players, all it boils down to now is, we're having to trust you these guys are good enough for the Prem, if you're right we'll be in for a treat.

Big step up, Roca seems to be my choice as first one to do ok.
