Leeds were unceremoniously dumped out of the FA Cup last night at the hands of Fulham, as the Cottagers eased their way to the last eight. Beating a diabolical Southampton side is one thing, but when up against a half decent outfit, Javi Gracia witnessed first hand the monumental challenge he faces, to paper over the cracks between now and the end of the season.

The visitors more then held their own during the early encounters, and actually had the ball in the back of the net twice, before Palhinha opened the scoring on 21 minutes. Adams sold Roca short, as the Whites were looking to break quickly. The Portuguese International intercepted the ball, and struck a first time shot past a flat-footed Meslier from 30 yards.

Leeds had several chances to equalise, but Rodak was more than equal to Roca's strike, and when he was beaten, the post came to his aid (from Rutter's headed effort just before half-time). The Whites started the second half brightly. Rodak again had to be on hand to deny Gnonto, and then Rutter; unfortunately neither effort seemed destined for the back of the net.

Manor Soloman then gave Leeds a lesson in clinical finishing. With eight outfield players defending, the Israeli International let rip from the edge of the box. His bending effort swerved past the outstretched dive of Meslier, to put the hosts two up with little over 30 minutes remaining. It was a bridge too far for Gracia's side, who face another trip to West London in three days time.

Maybe the worst decision against us this season and there have been a few. We score there we go on to win imo.

I still find it hard to understand how Rutter's goal was disallowed, players play acting really wind me up. Sometimes I can't understand why VAR gets it wrong, or doesn't put things right, as often as it does. I don't know why the system doesn't work as well as it does in rugby. Mind you, for 100% injustice our final against Bayern Munich in 1975 was the pinnacle.

There was a incident against spurs where Kane pushed (Ayling i think) with two hands before spurs went on to score.... not a peep from var. Much worse than that incident Bye.

Yes, another puzzling decision that should have been highlighted, but was just accepted by that (oh so boring) co-commentator Shearer. I don’t know whether it was discussed at half-time or full time by the panel (because I can’t bear to watch or even listen to Jug ears), but if it wasn’t it surely should have been.

That is the other thing about our predicament. As usual, we can’t rely on a level playing field from referees or VAR which the more favoured clubs often can. I had high hopes for VAR, when it was first introduced, to rein in the worst excesses of biased refereeing, but, of course, that ship has long since sailed, and we are now left with not one but two layers of corruption to compete against, as well as the opposing team.

Chelski won't know whats hIT them because 'it's' going to happen very very swiftly and there's only a couple on here that will see 'it' happening but once 'it' happens you'll be absolutely stunned ! Right Kenny ?
