I'm absolutely staggered we haven't spent big on a top striker it beggars belief ! We seem to have filled out the squad with light weights, i have very little confidence we will avoid another relegation battle. I truly hope i'm proved wrong.

Yep, totally agree. This needs to be a priority and not another prolonged saga that goes nowhere. Whatever the question is, Bamford is not the answer. Gelhardt will hopefully become more established given time. I would like us to bring in a classic physical centre forward, good in the air and holding up the ball.

Yeah, just like the tour of Myanmar raised our profile. Could well be a Dead Kennedys follow up 'A Holiday in Myanmar'.weasel wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 10:17 am Do you not want Leeds to ever be competitive with the richer teams? The only ways to do that are
A) Get a mega rich owner who knows how to circumvent FFP rules
B) Increase our income by raising the profile of the club worldwide enabling us to sell more merchandising globally.
Going to places like Australia enables us to raise the profile ensuring the brand is more popular ensuring more non matchday income.

Mitrovic failed to score many goals last time Fulham were in the Premier League.
Decent championship No.9.

I meant someone like Mitrovic, a player who won't be bullied by anyone.

Presumably JKA will come onto our books when we are forced to pay for him.
We last signed a striker of any note back in 2018 - and he has been injured for half the time he has been at the club. It's a huge indictment of our DOF that he has failed in all that time to sign either a decent no 9 or a decent no 10 to replace Pablo. And of course we managed not to sign Haaland back in 2018....
Still, Radz seems to have endless faith in VO - so good luck to him.
