So Milan still pushing for De Ketelaere and had more meetings with Brugge for him today.

No price agreed though and seems to be a stalemate between Brugge, Milan and De Ketelaere who has basically refused to play.

Kid is clearly 100% committed to trying to force this through given Brugge is his boyhood club and even that wasn't enough to stop him effectively going on strike.

Kalimuendo is seemingly centre of a bit of a disagreement between New PSG Sporting Director Luis Campos who is very highly regarded (not by Bielsa who had a total falling out with him when at Lille and tried to sue and lost) and new PSG manager Christophe Galtier.

Campos wants to sell but Galtier (and PSG fans) have been impressed with Kalimuendo in pre season and are keen to keep.

Rennes are open to selling Terrier for the right price but the player himself has said he is happy to stay and isn't going to try and force a move.

Rennes have also been linked with Kalimuendo.

Rennes have also sold two players for around £50mil and aren't desperate for money.

Rennes are also on paper phenomenally wealthy being owned by Artemis which is wholly owned by French Billionaire François Pinault whose net worth is over £30billion.

Rennes are not a club who need to sell Terrier and will demand a premium.

None of them are: it's why I voted 'other.'

How are we going to attract anyone of note when wee just sold out best 2 players. No disrespect to the players we have signed but, Roca aside, are they better than squad players? I'd wager yes but we are still light up top and at #10/LB positions. We need to hit the ground running from match 1...

The problem with Gen Z is they want everything handed to them on a plate and not work for it. CDK will probably be a flop/bench at Milan and sold in a couple of years. But it's important to have Milan listed on your Instagram page and show off. If he comes to Leeds, he'll get his big move when he's ready, like Raph and Kalvin.

Belgian media are reporting there is a good chance this is true.

Milan have upped the offer and it looks likely Brugge will accept.

Saga finally over?

We will see how organised Orta has been.

Has he been sat waiting picking his nose or has he got another target well advanced?

Will it be Kalimuendo or Terrier or someone else?

Kalimuendo isn't that keen on the move and a Rennes director today dismissed the idea of selling Terrier.

I wouldn't mind Mërgim Berisha. Had a decent season with RB (scored home and away v Bayern in the Champions League) prior to his move to Turkey. Not sure why it hasn't worked out for him in Turkey but could be a decent striker for a cheap price to challenge for a starting place. I think we sometimes get carried away with transfer fees and expect the player to do better because they cost more - hasn't really proved to be the case for us with the likes of Rodrigo and others. Hopefully PB will be fit, hopefully JG is over his back niggles and then we have the likes of Rodrigo and Aaronsen also competing for the 2 striking positions. It also means we have a bit of cash left over for the new manager to spend in January to give us a boost in our quest to get out of the relegation zone.

Wouldn't make sense given he is a totally different profile to De Ketelaere.

Ones a traditional number 9 type the other is a false.9/attacking midfielder.

Then again they wanted Nketiah originally who is totally different to De Ketelaere.

Strange.

If we signed Berisha we would definitely need another creative player.

The main benefit of Terrier and De Ketelaere is they can hopefully help create (an area we look extremely short).

Berisha and Kalimuendo and Nketiah for that matter Wouldn't .

We could have got more cash for Raphinha from Chelsea but he went cheap to Barca to fulfil his dream, we put his dream before our own financial future, I see the same happening with CdK going to Milan for a lower offer than what we offered because he wants to go there and not Leeds.
Why hasn't Club Brugge taken the better offer, they know Milan won't beat ours yet they are still waiting in hope, shouldn't that be enough to tell us to move on quickly, the season is upon us. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see CdK in a Leeds shirt but his heart and mind will be elsewhere.
He'll be a Milan player before the weekend.

Weve already lost enough heart from the team without needing to bring in players who dont want to be here, or stay a season and go.!
Terrier of the three seems interesting, not sure what kind of cash he would cost.
Id rather see Diaz too, and with only a year contract, he'd not cost massive sums and knows english football. Worth a punt. Id imagine diaz and cornet combined may cost less than cdk.

Weve seen big money transfers burn us before (rodrigo),.
But if we were to splash out, then id rather see Toney come in, over any of those three. Though i cant see Brentford letting that one happen!

Whilst there has been a lot of Italian media propaganda regarding De Ketelaere this does sound more concrete.

Di Marzio isn't generally one to mess about and this ridiculous spectacle is almost over.

We will soon see how organised Orta and Co have been.
