Rasmus is falling by many into the complete shyte bracket, along the lines of Borthwick Jackson.

There are other worrying things as well but i'm not gonna post about until after Chelsea, and apparently Jesse might be lured away by the USA job vacancy.

Bring Bert back please Radz.

Cue entertainment.
Kenny - fine, as far as I'm concerned what you have written is all fair comment and just an exchange of different opinions. I don't have any problems with your opinions on the whole ( apart from the anti-Americanism ) and it does raise a bit of a laugh on here.

With Weasel it's a different matter - his arrogance and condescension is just breathtaking. It's a shame that John in Louisiana didn't respond in the manner that his recent disgusting comments merited. I love the club, but sometimes I love the club despite some of the ' fans. '

weasel wrote: Tue Aug 16, 2022 12:28 am A very tentative link there that you found from Faaip who didn't do a Marsch/Bielsa comparison but stated that the Southampton manager did something that Marsch did last season when Marsch let the players play in a way they were more used to. Why don't we play a game where we open a bag of straws and see how many you can clutch?

I was born in the lovely seaside town of Whitby, thanks for asking. I don't feel it however has any bearing on my emotional state though just the same as i I had been born in Leeds wouldn't have made any difference either.

I'm extremely glad you are not into wokeism. Thanks for clearing that up before informing me how insulted you were on behalf of gay people and Americans. In future though I would be happy to insult you personally rather than anyone else if that would make you feel better?

I have no dislike for Mr Marsch. I have concerns over his ability to manage the team successfully but he seems a pretty decent guy, well for an American. I'd certainly rather have Marsch as manager rather than the last Yorkshireman (Heckingbottom) we had in charge of the club.
It's just the small matter that your comments very likely broke the law. Presumably you do believe that the laws of this country apply even to you ?

And oh the irony of a guy from Whitby lecturing someone born and bred in Leeds that he doesn't get what being passionate about following the highs and lows of following LUFC is all about....I mean, I've only being doing it for my entire life. Clearly you didn't feel like devoting your loyalties to Whitby Town FC then, but instead decided to adopt another club and then lecture Leeds folk on how to support their home football team...?

Unlike you, my dear friend, John recognises humour and has the ability to recognise when an insult is not an insult. I'm sure though he is glad that you feel he is incapable of standing up for himself, america or his son and is no doubt fully appreciative of you having his back, side before self.

Interesting I feel exactly the same way as you do in the part I highlighted in bold. Being a Leeds fan doesn't stop anyone from being an absolute idiot - a point you seem to want to prove. I fully applaud you for that.

Oh no are the woke police at my door?

I see we all have to support the team from the town where we were born do we? I suppose that means my daughter will have to support Almansa in Spain as she was born in the hospital there but hasn't ever lived there? Or support Zara where she lived the first couple of years of her life? Or support Macclesfield where she lived for a year when we moved back here? Or maybe support Oldham where she has lived for 3 years? Could you clear it up for me as to who she should support? Interestingly despite being born in Spain she has no right to claim Spanish Citizenship.

I am however personally offended that you, Chapel, have disgustingly attacked every member of this forum who wasn't born in Leeds. You have effectively told probably 90%+ of this forum's members to f*ck off and not support Leeds. You really are vile to attack all those members of our Leeds United family that were not born in Leeds.

Straight into the trap Aussie, i was waiting for this.

It's a definite no brainer for Jesse's dick coz the lazy ba***rd doesn't need to graft like Bert wanted PB to do, and it's a helluva lot narrower for the lazy git.

He also hasn't got the brain to harry and close down coz he's a thick goal poaching type numpty, headless chicken type when it comes to the PB lone role, Lord PB has a brain.

It is 4-2-2-2 now, don't you get why it's a 'no brainer' ? :duno: :whisp:

Rodrigo will also be ok in a 4-3-3 but not a Klopp 4-3-3, he'd be ok ish in a Pep 4-3-3 but wouldn't get many games, important ones anyway. He might possibly be ok ish in a 4-4-2 but would need grafters around him.

No manager in their right mind would rely on him up front on his own, unless you're 0-2 up and go 4-5-1, but even then i'd drag him off.

Rubbish. You had the cheek to say that I don't understand the emotions involved of being a ' true football fan ' so my comments are directed entirely at you. Other fans not born in the city don't make the type of insulting and inane comments that you do, so don't try and get others to come on your side and gang up against me - that's just manipulative behaviour.

And as I said before - sometimes ' lads banter ' is a camouflage for malicious behaviour. Read this ; https://www.hr-inform.co.uk/news-articl ... nal-claims

or this ; https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zbbbrj6

Maybe try copying and pasting what you wrote, emailing it to the club, with the explanation that it was just a joke comment on an LUFC fan site, and then and see how you get on....I am sure that people at the club would roll around with laughter and back you to the hilt - NOT.

A wonderful article, not exactly sure of the relevance given I am not employing anyone on this forum and this forum is not a workplace - or if it is I am yet to recieve a pay cheque (pay check for our american members).

I have no intention of asking anyone to gang up on yourself, that would just be bizarre. But you seem to think you have a monopoly on true emotion being as you, unlike the majority of the forum, was born in Leeds. You also seem to have a view that people should support the team where they were born and not Leeds, so you are discriminating against people because of where they are born - correct me if I am wrong but isn't that a form of racism?

Again you miss the point - apart from yourself, I have never had another Leeds fan ( born in Leeds or not ) who has suggested that I don't understand the emotions of following the club. I was pointing out the irony.

Have you noticed how the Lpool side is affected with just a couple of key players out, have you noticed how unbalanced they've become, how the whole team is effected, players having to fill roles that's not their normal best position, square pegs etc......let's not go there huh.

Jesses been given some of his own brand new shiny players that he's worked with before and ALL the experience that comes with that.

Big test in Chelsea coming up old boy, how you feeling ? Confident ?

Come on tell us how you're feeling, coz i'm a trifle worried and we're gonna learn a lot.
Well the defence has worried me for two seasons now Kenny - so that's always a concern in any game. Having said that, We very nearly got a draw last time before Klich screwed up, so I actually think we have a chance to get something out of the game. I think that we may take the odd big scalp this season like we did the season before last.

So why then bring up the fact you were born in Leeds as the base of your argument? Your suggestion was that becasue I was not born in Leeds I had no right to question your emotional understanding. As such you belittled the view of every Leeds fan not born in the city of Leeds.

Where I was born had no relevance, just the same as where you were born has no relevance. You however decided it was. Quite ironic (oh sh*t apparently americans don't understand irony so someone will have to explain this to them) given you were claiming I was racist against americans.

Great scenes in the away end.

The volume of noise is definitely louder in this clip.

Marsch singing 'Marching O Together' with our fans at the end.
