The problem with Llorente is that he was exposed to a through ball against Everton for their goal and now everyone sees he’s at sea under hoof ball attacks as well. His position is untenable as everyone will target him from now on.

Everyone here can see that Hjelde at left back and either Struijk or Cooper instead of Llorente at CB will be an ample change to staunch the gaping wound that is our defence currently. We absolutely need reinforcements though, either through loans or bringing back Cresswell. I believe we have an option to bring him back at the end of September. In spite of his inexperience he would be a serious improvement on Llorente, both in defence and in set pieces in attack.

Marsch better get these changes right very quickly. His honeymoon is well over now.

Let me add that Jesse Marsch completely lost his cool today. Unacceptable!! And that loss of composure on the part of the Manager was transferred to the team. They fell apart after he was sent off. We needed calm and composed and he lost the plot.

Agree 100%, this trying to get in the refs head by constantly complaining is ridiculous. Even worse is boasting about it pre-match. The refs have his number.

Hate to say but we need a couple of "propa Brexit" CBs who will just clear it and head it away. We don't have the funds to buy Man Citeh style CBs, so we can only get ones on the cheap who aren't good enough for that style. That's what I would've kept Cresswell and given him a chance.

Sometimes you need players who just do there jobs well.

Defenders defend and attackers score and create goals.

We have had our priorities for signings mixed up in that regard for years trying to sign players who primary run a lot or press a lot or have a high pass accuracy.

Look at Brighton. They like to get the ball down and pass, but their CBs are still Dunk, Duffy, Webster etc big lads who clear the danger away.
