Automatic log in on MOT
I've had a couple of posters inform me that the auto log in isn't working for them.
Anyone else having probs? If so, please post here and state which browser you are using.
Thanks

Re: Automatic log in on MOT
Im using google chrome no problems here.
An old forum I used to run used to log you out all the time.
I had PHP coders look at it and they couldnt fix it, said it had something to do with the server.

Be sure that you are using the address http://www.motforum.com and that your browser is set to allow cookies. Should be ok then, I've not had any issues.

Surely if you bookmark the homepage you should be automatically logged in.Shields53 wrote:Be sure that you are using the address http://www.motforum.com and that your browser is set to allow cookies. Should be ok then, I've not had any issues.

Re: Automatic log in on MOT
The link Shields posted IS the homepage, mate....tho I would have thought if you book marked the index page or even general chat, it would have saved your log in... That could be down to firefux, as it always used to regularly lose ALL my bookmarks completely, when I used it. Gave it up in the end and moved to Comodo Dragon as my browser..CSA wrote: Surely if you bookmark the homepage you should be automatically logged in.
Hope we can get to the root of this prob for you, mate.

I use Firefox and safari and both work perfectly well.
