Paul Robinson MK 2

Post by 1964white »

Best left back we've had at ER since Micky Gray in our previous championship years

Robinson really got the crowd going today with his tough never say die attitude

Hope Warnock snaps him up in the summer in our pursuit to win the the Championship next season :-D

Agreed.

"No nonsense" does not mean dirty. He is where he needs to be, when he needs to be and does what he needs to do.

Looks a cracking acquisition, and hopefully a permanent one.

Had my doubts about him, given that he was struggling to get into a Bolton defence that was almost as pants as ours was! But he's been a revelation, no frills, no messing about, just does what a full-back is supposed to do. Another thumbs up for Warnock, get him signed up, could be our 'Vinnie' for next season (providing of course we don't exceed expectations and do it this). NW seems to have a good eye for players, something I'm not sure Larry had. All we need now is for Bates to back him and we can allow ourselves to get excited about the future. MOT!!!

Or maybe Grayson just couldn't get the best out of the players he signed?

Fair point mate. Something happened between Grayson and the squad in the last months of his tenure, he had lost that dressing room. Perhaps they saw that he was out of his depth in terms of taking us to the next level, who knows :duno: Doesn't really matter, just glad we've got a guy at the helm now who believes in the players and, it would seem, they believe in him. Genuinely excited as a Leeds fan for the first time in ages; as others have said, best manager we've had since Wilko

Desperate to get over again before the end of the season to feel the ER buzz, hoping funds allow. No place like it when the crowd's up for it. MOT!!

His booking was an awful decision by the ref.He booked him for who did the tackle not the tackle itself.

Always thought he was a thug who couldn't play football, but never previously liked brown or warnock. Seems like i can be turned.

Which is really all you want of any player in any position - do your job. Never been a big fan of his, but I was cheering as loud as anyone else when he made those tackles.
Beware the fury of a patient man - John Dryden.
