...and, if anyone thinks we can get him to stay for peanuts, he'll see us for the cheapskates we are and leave. We MUST show we are a quality team with a quality attitude.

Has the capacity and scope to become a club legend. We MUST keep KP and build round him.

There's no wonder he's as improved as he is physically but it has also given him that extra confidence and he is maturing to a very special footballer. You've seen that Leon, but yet attending all the games you do you would see it.
I have Norm

I noticed the difference in KP immediately during our first game v Stoke under Bielsa last season. Kalvin appeared super-fit, more athletic & gave the impression he was bouncing off the pitch

To be fair Bielsa has got his squad super-fit.....Klich, Ayling & Dallas being prime examples!

Won't be long now Norm, from what I've heard & know of Kalvin I suspect he'll be entirely grateful to Marcelo for the improvement in his game under the guidance of Bielsa

Thing is Leon, he's actually very likeable too - a superb advert for our team, manager and quest for the Prem.
Also, I love his behaviour as he's walking off the pitch - he's very conscious of the kids, the staff and the crowd in what is becoming a captain's demeanor.

I would also say him and Klich have got the AMF and DMF sewn up for at least the immediate future, as they seem to complement each other.

Hope he doesn't make the England squad. We need to keep him fit for the run in, not playing in pointless friendlies, and England duty is where all the tapping up happens by the top 6.

Kalvin Phillips has created 33 chances from corner set-pieces this season, more than any other Championship player. He has also created 8 chances from free-kicks. Both his assists this season have been delivered from the left channel

Kalvin is not just a defensive midfielder

He pings the ball all over the pitch

Phillips controls games from the back, from the middle of the park & just for good measure he is our best set-piece provider

Not his best game (definitely better than Cardiff) but the rock in our midfield, will be playing for England soon and in the Prem for Leeds MOT

I'm usually criticized for my KP opinions but I'm a huge fan and I think marked him higher than anyone yesterday with an 8. Outstanding in open play all game for me.

You usually over score and I usually underscore ...but I thought he was magnificent after a slightly rusty start yesterday.

Locking Kalvin up for the long term is an absolute must. He's the face of the club.
