Another assist for James even though he'd only been on the pitch for four minutes.

Dan keeps adding to his numbers!

Dan improves his numbers with each & every game.

That's 9 goals & 6 assists for the season so far!

Did you notice Dan's tracking back to help Archie once again?

I am delighted for Dan that he is doing so well and playing with a smile on his face. Seemed like he endured a horrible last few months at Old Toilet and then had to suffer from a lot of fans being against him because he'd played for them and also because of the size of the fee and the fact he didn't set the world on fire when played out of position. Then being jettisoned by Marsch but hardly used by Fulham. Was still not wanted by a large section of our fans this year.

Cracking player, cracking grafter too and seems a really likeable guy too.

An automatic starter for me, Gnonto & Anthony don't even come close, imo!

I get the impression DF is instilling a lot of confidence in these players, spotting and working on their best attributes and trying to bring it out on the pitch, he's not the most gifted, but the best parts of his game are obvious.

Doesn't seem that long ago one was mocking him for his speed, insisting you can't sign such a player.

Tbf he started 6 of the first 10 at Fulham did absolutely nothing so got dropped.

He's always been a hard worker but very pleased to see him finding some end product.

He's been very important for us this season and deserves his place in the team.

That being said still think he may fall into the top Championship player not Prem level category. Plenty of players similar to DJ have had that issue over the years.

Hopefully this season will see him make the necessary improvements to progress in that sense.

He's done very well.

Yes i did, and his speed is excellent for recovery in this style DF's playing.

Imagine a full team of speed merchants, and ones that can actually play a bit

Drool......I wonder if Bert ever wanted any speed in his teams :duno:

Ya Kyle Walkers don't come cheap tha knows, and even harder to find.

Only 5 players have more goal contributions in the league this season than Dan James

Credit to him for finding an end product.

And his defensive work today was class.

At one stage when Archie had gotten forward he tracked the whole way back to his own goal line & cleared for a corner, brilliant all round performance

Top championship player is a good depth bottom half of the prem player imo .. But he does seem to be getting better and system is important for him

He's certainly proving himself at this level and his pace and workrate make him a useful sub option in the Prem on occasion maybe.

Questions exist over his Premier League quality though imo.

We will hopefully find out next season.

End product does seem better

It’s a confidence thing.
When he was at Swansea they played possession football and used his pace when needed which is what we are doing now and that suits his game.
At scum, for Wales and previously for us it was a little bit “Oh, James is fast let’s boot the ball for him to run after”.
He certainly seems to be taking a deep breath at the last moment before his final touch whereas before he panicked a lot more (he still does on occasion but it’s improving)

Another cracking MOM display from Dan, well done son
Farke is certainly getting the best out of him, no complaints from me, keep it up.

Top performance today again from James. Excellent work rate and belief in the box. Nailed on starter and key to us unlocking many Championship defences with his speed, delivery of crosses and finishing.

Very unlucky with the chip effort in the second half. Should be coaching the rest of our front players on how to score from a header!

DJ is using his speed to great effect this season.
I have always admired his attitude and work rate. To be fair to the lad he has had a good run now as a winger and is proving his worth in his natural position.
