Summerville is caught in limbo. Far too good for u21 football, but won't get much of a sniff with the first team and won't be allowed out on loan either. It's a make or break season for him too. I really rate him, but don't see him fulfilling his potential at Lufc sadly.

He just needs to seize the opportunity and he'll get more game time under Marsch than he did under Bielsa. He certainly deserves a fair chance.

Summerville will be a great option off the bench which is where he needs to be at this stage of his development.

He can play on either side so is ideal.

Physically he wont have the stamina to play 90 mins every week and he also isnt better than Aaronsen, Jack or Sinistera.

But he is a joy to watch at times.

We have a cracking squad in development.

Agree with the second part of that atm though he offers something none of those can. The first part I disagree with, he's very close to 90 minute fitness now, probably the fittest player on the park for us yesterday. It was Gnonto who was gassed fairly early and that maybe why he's not prem ready which JM alluded to, he's good enough

JB is very close too, Roca is gonna have to stay on his toes to keep him out. Very very clever passer of the ball, strong and very quick feet.

Was the best player by a distance yesterday.

Was fortunate to find a stream.

Most Impressive imo Was his workrate.

He chased back and won the ball back numerous times including for one of the goals where he won it back, run with the ball half the pitch abd laid it off to Bamford.

Showed great desire and final pass.

Fully deserved his goal

With Dan James gone, I see him getting quite a bit of time.

5 Subs rule and first winger off the bench

Only takes an injury to Harrison or Sinisterra to get him in the starting line up

Thought he was very bright today.

Some driving runs through the pitch and got his goal.

Needs to get his head up a bit more perhaps and he does need to start showing this on a regular basis especially as the man now in possession of the shirt of some of our most creative attacking players like Raph and Kewell.

But he was a positive today to the point I do wonder whether with confidence surely high he should start vs Liverpool with his pace?

Gave us something different today.

Pleased for him, as I always thought he was talented. He was wasted in the u23s for far too long.

One of the few bright sparks over the last couple of games. Agree re needing to lift his head more, but that will come. Talented lad.

Played well, creates lots of opportunities if not lots chances just yet.

Should have had an assist for Bamford and took his goal well.

I said he was better than James. We've done better out of giving Jimmy a chance imo.

Yes fully agree, the lad has made the step up and deserves that shirt number. With Summerville, Sinesterra, Harrison and Gnotto we have real talented wingers, so right to move Dan James on I think.

He's lively. His final ball could be better and more consistent. We know he has it because we've seen some brilliant work and finfishes in the 23's. It's something that should improve has he grows in confidence. Hope it's something he'll build on. Looks a better prospect right now than Dan James.

Did the same.

Unfortunately, the house I was in belongs to a Liverpool fan. I was the only Leeds fan in the midst of a sea of Scousers.

Don’t know if I will ever be invited back.

Delighted for him to show what he is capable of looked great second half when mainly on the right. His interview was special he still looked absolutely stunned and proud as punch.

Great for all the under 23s to be reminded there’s a route to the first team as well. Should be plenty of opportunities for forward players this season if Jesse realises bamford needs a few weeks training and playing under 23 games
