Injured his knee in the game where he came on as Left-back, and played really well.
Hope he's back for pre-season training. Looks one hell of a prospect.

Here in Argentina , apart from criticizing his style of play, it is said that Bielsa's defect is that he demands too much from the players and they end up injured.Cjay wrote: ↑Fri Mar 04, 2022 10:11 pm Jesse Marsch has confirmed a long held suspicion that Bielsa was overusing the squad.
Injured players were being rushed back before full fitness and being played when Bielsa knew they had injuries and consequently they became reinjured.
They were also being overloaded in training and the consequences of that are for all to see
Bielsa is very much largely responsible for our injury issues.

Bamford has a foot injury, out for a minimum of 6 weeks but imo basically the season.
Phillips, Cooper and Llorente have all trained and as things stand should be available for Southampton.
Raphinha and Klich are back with the squad after the covid and concussion.
Meslier hasn't trained and.jas severe bruising to his torso and thigh however he is expected to be fit for Southampton.

We say that here as well, but some fans refuse to believe it.WEALLLOVELEEDS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 9:47 am Here in Argentina , apart from criticizing his style of play, it is said that Bielsa's defect is that he demands too much from the players and they end up injured.
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension Thread 7/4/2022 Update-
Every single team has their run of good and bad luck re injuries, losing at any given time 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 players.
How it affects the team depends on those players lost and their role in that team, players get injured in games, in training, in 'warm ups', in car accidents, having sex, in the bath, playing bingo, falling trees, you can kiss n cuddle em to death, they'll still get injured and then complain of rashes if they don't like it.

Firpo is out for 2 months according to this: https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... te-3766022 Have we bought an injury prone player or is Firpo just unlucky? Not been a good deal this has it

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 11/7/22 UPDATE
I agree Barcelona did us over when they sold us Firpo. I’d be interested to see just how much time he’s spent on the pitch - I presume there are stats somewhere. Looking even crazier not to have considered buying a LB this summer.Victor_Notts-17 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 7:25 am Firpo is out for 2 months according to this: https://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/ ... te-3766022 Have we bought an injury prone player or is Firpo just unlucky? Only thought I’d Kristensen to LB if he can and Drameh at RB, however there’s also Leif Davis

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 11/7/22 UPDATE
Our left and right backs are now considered attacking wing-backs so we could see Harrison at LWB. Cody Drameh should deffo be considered an option on the right too. I'm sure Kristenson could play left or right. I don't know how much a LWB role would suit Leif Davis...RobbieLeeds wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 8:52 am Only thought I’d Kristensen to LB if he can and Drameh at RB, however there’s also Leif Davis
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 11/7/22 UPDATE
Davis has the pace, and I always thought he had good ball delivery into the box. So i think left wing-back might suit him better than Left-back.

yep thats why we need a LB asap and a striker asap.. firpo, cooper, bamford llorente etc are broken and will allways remain broken
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 23/7/22 UPDATE
Cooper due to train tomorrow, Sinisterra's a week away as is Forshaw. Firpo and Ayling should join the group in a fortnight's time. #lufc

Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 23/7/22 UPDATE
Is Sinsiterra a week away as of the time of the injury or as of yesterday? Just wondering if he's contending for a bench place against Wolves.
Re: LUFC Injury/Suspension - 23/7/22 UPDATE
I would guess as of yesterday.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 5:22 pm Is Sinsiterra a week away as of the time of the injury or as of yesterday? Just wondering if he's contending for a bench place against Wolves.
So will resume training next week? Only a guess but how I read it.
Be surprised if he is in the squad for Wolves, more likely Southampton the week after

How far off do we now reckon Dallas is, looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch?
