Re: European/World Football - Jude Bellingham's wonderful solo goal.
Do you reckon Sancho is now thinking he maybe should have stayed put in Dortmund

Great goal. We have some fantastic footballers. Gone are the days when people said English players don't make it abroad. I wish more would experience it.
Re: European/World Football - Barcelona sack Koeman!
Ronald Koeman sacked after 14 months in charge of Barcelona after their loss to Rayo Vallecano.

Bayern Munich suffered their biggest defeat since 1978 as they were thrashed 5-0 at Borussia Monchengladbach in the German Cup second round.

Surprisingly, the Euro 2020 winners Italy (only beaten once in forty games are in the play-off as are Ronaldo's Portugal
Coop's Scotland,
James's Wales

Re: European/World Football - Italy & Portugal in the World Cup Play-Offs
Just looked up how it works (this is how i read it)-
Draw today with the 6 seeded teams getting a home game in a one match semi-final play off.
Hence Scotland & Wales wont play each other or Italy or Portugal in the semi-finals.
Winners of the Semis will then play one of the other winners in a final to see which 3 teams eventually qualify for the WC.
Seeds - Italy, Portugal, Russia, Scotland, Sweden and Wales
Non Seeded - Austria, the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine
Note - Austria & Czechs qualified by their Nations League ranking not by been R/U in their group.
