Nottingham Forest have signed Nigeria forward Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin for a club record fee

The 24-year-old joins newly promoted Forest on a five-year deal for a reported £17m.

Awoniyi scored 20 goals in 43 games across all competitions last season and becomes Forest's first signing since gaining promotion back to the Premier League.

The ones I've spoken too are pretty level-headed and hope to just survive. They have made decent signings and have some really good players anyway so they could survive. Never easy though is it?

I reckon out of the three that were promoted, Forest could be the team to survive.

Forest have completed the £17m signing of Liverpool defender Neco Williams on a four-year deal.

The Wales right-back, 21, helped Fulham gain promotion to the Premier League after joining them on loan in January.

Williams is Forest's sixth signing of the transfer window as they prepare to return to the top flight.

Wales international Wayne Hennessey has signed a two-year contract at Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest from relegated Burnley for an undisclosed fee.

Nottingham Forest have signed Costa Rica international midfielder Brandon Aguilera on a four-year contract.

Forest say the 19-year-old, who joins from Costa Rican side Alajuelense, will go back to his homeland to complete a six-month loan with Guanacasteca before joining them.

Aguilera made his Costa Rica debut in March and has three caps.

"It's a dream come true for me to come over to England and be part of this club," he said.

Nottingham Forest have agreed a double deal with Huddersfield for full back Harry Toffolo and Former LUFC target midfielder Lewis O'brien with both deals expected to be announced soon.

They have also made an official offer for Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet but it is below his release clause.

They are also considering an offer for Tiktok star and occasional footballer Jesse Lingard.
