Re: A to Z of Pop - Your favourite three AC/DC songs.
I'll pass on this one.
I smell blood and an era of prominent mad men - W.H. Auden
Re: A to Z of Pop - Your favourite three AC/DC songs.
Any 3 from their album Powerage, they've never bettered it. IMO.
Re: A to Z of Pop - Your favourite three AC/DC songs.
The early ones have this raw sound, and they're really well produced. Powerage was the last one produced by Harry Vanda and George Young, and they've never bettered that sound. Bon Scott's lyricism and humour also make the songs what they are. No real interest in them after Bon.

Its a cracker sara. I remember playing DPB for a mate of mine after a few beers. It was the first time he had heard it... needless to say he's loved it ever since.

I know... I missed out on them first time round, only really coming to play after hearing FTATR.... it's often the first one you hear that sticks ....SaraM wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 4:08 pm The early ones have this raw sound, and they're really well produced. I'm sure that's true. Borrowed Powerage and Highway from the record library when I was about 14 and put them both on a D90, which I played to death. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Tue Jun 06, 2023 5:24 pm I know...
