Nah I'd say Gyabi needs the test of Premier League football to see how he does

Greenwood needs Championship football to see if he is going to sink or swim.

Let's hope he does well if he comes.

Reviews are mixed from both Juve and USA fans.

Hint of the unprofessional about him apparently for one, doesn't take the best care of himself.

He looks a strong and niggly player which is nice.

Dont think he is going to bring the creative edge that the cm lacks though

And that is a lot of money we are spending on him.
It's an option not obligation. If he's s**t, we can send him back. £1m or so loan fee, it's a win win for us really.

He isn't going to start over Adams, McKennie or Roca. It's too big a jump from second tier of u21s to starting in the PL. He wasn't one of the standouts at Citeh like Lavia or McAtee either.

Send him to League One for the rest of the sesson, it'll do him the world of good.

I'd keep Greenwood as a bench option and then reassess in the summer.

From reports in Italy its an obligation in all but name.

We survive and he plays atleast 10 games

Problem with fan views is most are fairly clueless, you need to filter out the sheep and the biased... He looks a player tbh, has the holy trinity for me. Short area burst, contact balance and good game reader. There are some concerns over injury issues? Not checked his injury history yet

No true.

I just don't rate Greenwood at all (serious Tyler Roberts weird Marsch obsession vibes).

Gyabi atleast has a bit of size and power about him

Well if he's s**t, leave him on 9 games lol.

I actually think he'll do well for us. Think he needs a move to get his mojo back.

Both sets of fans saying similar things though, had our own USA fans say similar on here regarding his technical ability.

And his discipline/professionalism seems questionable

Was sent home from the USA squad for 2 covid protocol breaches

His fitness has been an issue regarding not taking care of himself (does look quite chunky in certain pictures).

Hopefully he has grown up a bit.

Pirlo was apparently a big fan.

Hopefully.

He's different to Roca and Adams, big strong type

Hopefully Adams can help his friend stay on the straight and narrow.

But wish we had signed a more creative midfielder as well.

Will say I am pleased we have signed someone in midfield.

If he is an improvement on Forshaw and Greenwood then that is good.

He seems tenacious and strong so it gives us an option.

Haha no, the Bristol City one. Linked again and apparently available for £12m. Very similar to Greasy, but with loads of fouls rather than dives lol.

Wow setting high ambitions for the lad there, I really hope he is far far better than those 2. If he isn’t it’s a massive waste of money.

As a USA fan, who has watched McKennie a lot, I'm surprised by the comments about his technical ability. After Reyna and Pulisic, I'd rate him as the most technical on the USMNT. I like his vision and one-touch passing. He also has a nose for the goal.

My biggest on-the-pitch criticism is that he sometimes plays to the level of competition. A big match vs. Mexico and he plays excellent and with passion... an away match vs. Guatemala (where you'd like him to assert himself and make for an easy night) and he's kind of nondescript.

However, given the circumstances at Leeds... fans/stakes/new club... I don't think that will be an issue in 2023.
