Meslier - 8 - Still plays around with the ball too much, but distributed well and made the huge save when he had to
Gray - 8 - Got turned around a couple of times early, but learned quickly and was outstanding the rest of the way
Byram - 8 - See Gray
Ampadu - 9.5 - As good as Klich at his absolute best.
Rodon - 10 - Broke up more attacks than I can count. A rock
Struijk - 9.5 - Almost as good as Rodon
Summerville - 8 - Could have done a little more with the chances he had, but acted as a great pressure release when they turned up the heat
Kamara - 10 - Brilliant performance.
Piroe - 7.5 - Missed a golden opportunity in the first couple of minutes. Very active throughout.
Geo - 8.5 - An extra half point for the goal.
James - 7.5 - Not quite Summerville

Gruev - 8 - Very high for such a short time on the pitch, but he did exceptionally well in those few minutes. Some brilliant tackles.

Stressful watch towards the end of the game but the lads got it over the line. Come on Bill after watching your teammates run their boll*x off for 90 minutes the least you can do is try to make a decent challenge. That would have been harsh on the team. Great save by Mes.

Meslier 8: Not alot to do in terms of saves but the one at the end was outstanding. He kept in nice and simple with the distribution only one difficult ball out i remember.

Gray 8: Torrid first half but steadied and settled himself second half. Their wingers are good players so it was always going to be a difficult night.

Byram 8: Same as Archie first half and when he got his booking i was worried but regrouped and did a good job. His header creates the goal. He really does attack the ball. Others take note.

Struijk 9: Brilliant calm and composed performance.

Rodon 11: The Welsh mean machine. What a performance that was. Ffycin Ardderchog.

Ampadu 10: These Welsh boys are doing their county proud. We would be screwed without them.

Kamara 9: Outstanding display. He looked out on his feet at the end.

Summerville 7: Not quite Jimmy's night but still had his moments.

James 8: Used his pace well provided the corner for the goal. Good solid display.

Piroe 7: He links play well but should have hit the target early on. Did get one on target in the second half that their keeper saved. Needs to get back on the scoresheet.

Rutter 8: Not quite as consistent tonight but still plenty of incidents. Should have scored early on but made up for it with the tap in. Ran himself into the ground. He loves it at the minute.

I managed to catch the whole match last night without interruption and what a match.
Meslier 7: didn’t have an awful lot to do and threatens to get himself into a bit of a pickle, occasionally, with the ball at his feet. But stayed focused to the end and made his one save of the game brilliantly and crucially very late on.
Gray 7.5: got skinned a few times early on but eventually and manfully got to grips with their dangerous winger.
Rodon 9: immense.
Struijk 8.5: nearly as immense.
Byram 8: similar performance to Gray - eventually got a handle on their winger after a dicey start, an extra half point for the brilliant header.
Ampadu 8.5: dominant in midfield together with his partner.
Kamara 9: his best display yet, superb in the first half, faded slightly late on in the 2nd but strong as an ox and can play a bit too.
James 7.5: used his main asset, his speed, well but still can’t get his final ball right more often than not. Wasted a few corners too but crucially got one spot on.
Summerville 8: not at his imperious best but still has more than enough to give any defence nightmares.
Piroe 6.5: fluffed his one good chance and didn’t seem to get on the ball enough, but his off the ball movement helps his teammates.
Rutter 8.5: I’ve seen him have better games overall but he is some player. An extra half point for being on hand for the tap in.

Meslier - 8 I am big critic of Meslier but this game he played well

Meslier - 8 - was a 7 until his save. Distribution was pretty solid and didn’t make any clumsy mistakes…
Gray - 8 - really calm on the ball in some deep and tight spots and yet he made the correct choice every time. Actually an underrated performance from him.
Byram - 7.5 - a bit overly aggressive in the first half, but remained effective in the second while on that yellow. And what a brilliant header! Dropped .5 points because of that nervy-ness early on and the associated yellow
Ampadu - 8.5 - just a hair behind Rodon and Kamara in ratings. Another great, steady performance from Ethan. Love his chemistry with Rodon and the CBs behind him.
Rodon - 9 - was a beast throughout. Wasn’t going to be denied in the air. Great performance again
Struijk - 8 - another steady performance with great distribution…typical to what we’ve come to expect from him this year.
Summerville - 8 - was super busy and if he had a couple of touches and decisions in the final third turn out slightly different, he’d have been a 10. Another great outing from him and torn between an 8 and 8.5, so landed on an 8 because of the yellow card.
Kamara - 9 - was electrifying for 3/4ths of the match. Fizzled a little late and wish he hit that through ball which could’ve sealed it. His best game in a Leeds shirt to date.
Piroe - 7.5 - best game in a while. Got more stuck in in the midfield and those two shots were so close.
Rutter - 8 - was more of a 7 performance from him, but I think that was due to Leicester’s scheme. They were really quick to challenge him and not give him any time on the ball. Added a point for the goal.
James - 7.5 - great cross on the corner that led to the goal, but other crosses and distribution was a bit lacking. Love his hustle and heart, though. Can’t question the effort.

Gruev - 7 - solid in his short time on the pitch. Was super effective as an advanced defensive midfielder seeking out and destroying early attacks from Leicester’s back.
Bamford - 5.5 - meh. A couple of touches, not much to rate
Anthony - 5.5 - see Bamford
Ayling - 5 - see Bamford, but got beat on that header that nearly led to a goal.
Gnonto - 5.5 - pretty quiet. Wondering about his commitment as he’s pretty reserved with the media now.
