Plus - Good win away at a team going well

Minus - Awful commentator who sounded like he did 5 minutes research and called the game over at 72 minutes

+: Tough win on the road to keep everyone from being complacent.
-: Seemed a little off at times but if that's the only negative then I'll take it.

+ 3 points!
- Jimmy and Geo looked off a bit and so we looked sluggish in the final third. Yes, this despite Geo netting a goal and an assist.

P. Good win - started well and finished well…

N. But Plymouth made a game of it in between and we fortunately dug in while not at our best.

+ After a great start we looked leggy (that is understandable) but rode out the storm out really well to make it 8 wins on the bounce with only one goal conceded - an amazing run!

- Confirmation that I know nowt, with DF's switch of Joel and Georgino for a creation and a finish to put it to bed.

P: Handled ourselves well when the opposition had a good spell of possession. With games against the likes of Leicester and Chelsea coming up we need to be able to defend well when the opposition come at us. Plymouth are a decent side in terms of scoring goals and we limited them espescially thir forward Whittaker who seems highly rated although I would question whether he can make the jump up to a higher level considering how little he has done against us in the 4 games this season.

N: We did look a bit leggy. I do think long away trips messes with players and their routines far more especially if staying at a hotel overnight. Also going from playing at night to playing so early can't be great. So hopefully will be back to normal for the next match.

+ Good solid professional performance considering all the travel. The fans as always and i thought the ref had a blinder.

- Some of the players understandably looked leggy. Good rest now for the boys before we come out all guns blazing on Friday night.

P: Fnatastic away win and another clean sheet

N: Nothing in all honesty, I expect the opposition to have some possession, especially a home side, we dealt with it well, Meslier kept his concentration till the end.

Positive - one of those messy, dull wins on a shitty day when your play is off in many parts of the pitch, but are absolutely crucial if you are to win promotion.

Negative - first time in ages that our front line mostly misfired or were smothered until that Rutter Piroe switch in the second half.

Positive: 8 wins... Best run of form since 99/00
Negative: Despite winning 8 in a row, we'd still drop to third if Southampton win on Tuesday. Feels like we'll have to win every game this season to have a chance. :/

Problem is we've got another load of games coming up in a short space after the Leicester game. 4 in 9 days from Chelski to the Wendies.

Positive
Farke making a positional change to thwart Plymouth's upturn in the game

Negative
Game became scrappy as we lost possession & made several sloppy passes.

+ Geo lob to willy who snapped it out of the air spun past the defender and thrashed the ball into the back of the net off the inside of the post.

- Geo usually get trapped between three players, and he performs some sort of wizardry to escape with the ball Harry Houdini style, to the amazement and delight of the fans, so it was a bit of a disappointment that he was failing to wriggle his way free from the attentions of a couple of opponents.

We did get the goal in the 72nd minute after wrestling control back from Plymouth and before we made any subs. For my money Farke gets it right more often than not because sometimes subs come on and don't get up to the pace of the game quickly and you can give the opposition an advantage. Sometimes it is better to stick than to twist when you are leading. I think really out of the subs the only one I'd have potentially made earlier would have been to being James on for either Summerville or Gnonto.

We do but the 4 games after Chelsea we are at home twice and away twice in Yorkshire, Sheff Wed and Hduddersfield. So in terms of disruption it is far less of an issue than the recent long away trips.
