Didn't deserve that. But importantly saved some legs for Saturday.

Better side.

Missed chances, let down by individual errors (Cooper poor on every goal and think Meslier should have done better on 2)

But did well.

Gray, Ampadu, Rodon, Roberts and Joseph very good.

James really poor, Firpo was better 2nd half.

Rodon lost the flight of the ball there, what a miss.

Pride of the lads, Meslier with his usual London balls up, and we were never winning a pen shootout with him in goal either

Shows how far we have come where we are disappointed to lose to a star studded Chelsea team despite us having a weakened side out. Looking at our line-ups over the season I think if we were picking our strongest side for this match only 3 of the players selected tonight would have started in the position that we'd put them in (as Amapdu and Gray would be DF and RB). Those 3 would have been Messlier, Rodon and James.

Bloody well done Leeds, we can more than hold our heads up after that . Clearly money buys quality but it doesn’t buy heart, and I know which I’d rather see.

Absolutely made up with the performance, a feckin great barometer, now give DF some time to finish his building work

Good battling performance, now we move on to the important things.

And Leicester in the last 8 before going to City? Who needs it?

No disgrace, we looked good against a mid table premier league side.

Fingers crossed.

And we discovered more about Joseph. Gray got to practice midfield against the best. Roberts looked decent and will get match fitter.

We were the best team second half.

They threw everything at it to get over the line.

Well played Leeds. Not at full strength, and we should have beaten the Chelsea SCUM. Says a lot about the character of this side.

Really good second half, the better team. The winner took a nick off Cooper or I think Mes saves it.
Proud of how the handled it tonight, really pleased for Joseph as well.
So excruciating that we could have won it but at least the players were spared extra time
