Re: Coventry City post match discussion
Before we go into meltdown the Coventry commentator just said that was one of the results of the decade bringing our 15 unbeaten run to an end.
Between us and the Tractor Boys now I reckon.

15 points to play for, we need to make up 1.
Players and fans need to hold their nerve.

Unless we can turn around this slump that’s us done, worst thing you can do is flop in to the playoffs

Bouncebackability. That’s a top stat in golf. Once a hole is over it’s done. The best players already don’t remember it once they’re stood on the next tee.
Sunderland is all that matters now. Get a birdie there, I mean a win obviously, and all is ok again.

That phenomenal run was bound to come to an end at some point, two home games to come.

I’d not want to be in a big haunted mansion if Hector had the key. “Locking up in 10” aaaargh mummy help me.
Re: Coventry City post match discussion
More concerning is have we had a proper convincing performance since Chelsea?
Those draws vs Watford and Huddersfield are costing us.
Time for Farke to earn his money starting with Sunderland
And ffs pick Joseph and Piroe and drop Kamara

Spot on - it is all about the reaction.
I bet melodrama Connor on his YouTube channel is full of woe.

Has Lester or Ipswich had a convincing set of performances of late ?

Top three is still wide open and there will be lots of twists and turns.
Leicester
Millwall away
Plymouth away
WBA home
Preston away
Blackburn home
Most of those teams are pushing for play offs or to avoid the drop
Ipswich
Watford home
Boro home
Hull away
Coventry away
Huddersfield home
Mainly teams pushing for play offs
Leeds
Sunderland home
Blackburn home
Boro away
QPR away
Saints home
Mainly mid table teams, and our home crowd should pull us over the finish line.
Still fancy us to go up as Champions

Doesn't matter if you are 1st and 2nd though.
Poor performances are fine until you aren't

Re: Coventry City post match discussion
We have a similar run in to Ipswich. Same sequence of home & away. Bar the last game maybe playing a similar level of team all told. Even Udders could be battling for their life in the last game.
Re: Coventry City post match discussion
Yes mate, tt's not over yet, win those two homes games & table may look in our favour again.Barlow Boy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 4:19 pm That phenomenal run was bound to come to an end at some point, two home games to come.

A little concerned, with our performances of late, though.
Re: Coventry City post match discussion
And now we aren't. . . .
When the bad performances aren't costing you it's okish.
But they have and now they are.

Anyway just have to react and hope.
Hopefully this gives the lads the kick up the arse they need and Farke the one he needs to drop underperforming players.

We look leggy without a doubt. Need to find some inspiration from somewhere. Geo is still not fit for me, he has lost half a yard and has been average at best since his surgery.
