Elland Road roared to life as Leeds United secured a massive three points in their Premier League survival bid, dispatching Nottingham Forest with a commanding 3-1 victory. This win, a vital fourth in 16 league outings, sees Daniel Farke's men pull nine points clear of the relegation zone, offering a much-needed platform for safety. The performance was a testament to Farke’s belief that four more wins would seal their top-flight status, a confidence his side emphatically repaid. In stark contrast, Forest, who began the day level on points with Leeds, were lacklustre, leaving their survival hopes hanging precariously.

The decisive blows came in a blistering four-minute spell in the first half. After Dominic Calvert-Lewin had rattled the crossbar, Jayden Bogle fired Leeds into the lead in the 26th minute. Just three minutes later, Noah Okafor doubled the advantage, ending a 16-match league scoring drought and sending the home crowd into raptures. The momentum carried into the second half, with Calvert-Lewin adding a third goal four minutes after the restart. The talismanic striker, chesting home a classy Ilia Gruev cross, continued his impressive goalscoring form, taking his tally to 10 for the season and earning chants of "England's No9" around the ground.

Despite the dominant display, Italian striker Lorenzo Lucca managed to grab a late consolation for 17th-placed Forest in the 86th minute, heading home an Omari Hutchinson cross for his debut goal. However, this late strike did little to mask a wretched defeat for Sean Dyche's men. Calvert-Lewin's resurgence, finding his scoring touch at Leeds after a difficult spell at Everton, has been nothing short of remarkable, and his continued form could well be the key to firing the Whites to safety.

People will be disappointed about West Ham winning but at the end of the day if we take care of business it matters not what they do. Much rather be here today with 29 points and the 6 point gap than if we'd only drawn, been on 27 points, and West Ham had lost - meaning the gap would have increased to 7. We have gotta keep getting our points and if we get to 40 points and go down well it is just a case of sh*t happens. If we get to 40 points and West Ham have more than 40 then I would expect some other team to have got less than 40 (as well as Wolves and Burnley).

Hopefully we get another point tomorrow and continue our climb to a decent points total regardless of what West Ham do.

Watch Brighton take a nose-dive if they continue to play like the did against Palace.

"Leeds are very impressive"

"Leeds have lots of good players, the play some good stuff, they would kill us down the flanks"

"They are too good to be relegated, everybody should forget about Leeds"
