We really need a set piece specialist. To have all that height yet we fail to even beat the first man. Knicking a few goals here or there from set pieces.

That was abysmal. So poor all over, no plan, no structure, no quality - we better pray there are 3 teams worse than us.

As for Marsch, it’s clear now that he hasn’t a clue. He cannot last if we have any hope of putting out a team that can play at this level. To lose to such a poor team as Palace and them having embarrassed us so significantly in that second half is just shocking.

As others have said, not having invested in quality, experienced players in the summer (especially in midfield and in front of goal) will be the end of us as a Premier League club. Absolutely dire.

It’s started and usual crowd haven’t disappointed you.

I thought we deserved a draw based on the overall game but the last twenty we were poor.
A difficult place to come to for any team and we played better than last season when we drew 0-0, it’s like that sometimes.
Perhaps the usual crowd are sick and tired of what they're watching week in week out.....whoever is to blame for our poor results, it's not great to watch is it?

Because it was a panic buy. It was going to be Dieng, then we're scrambling around for a last min signing, and he has yet to feature for the first team.

I genuinely think they'd be happy to see Radz take us down, just because he isn't Bates.

A half fit Bamford

An expensive flop in Rodrigo whose had 70% crap games.

And Harrison whose always been phenomenally inconsistent.

Who do we have to replace them?

Kids.
Agree.

Tactically though we were inept. Which is really a problem seeing we battered them for 20 minutes.

No idea why we insisted on playing in that narrow corridor on the left in the second half. Harrison needs someone to partner him and while Struijk looked ok he just doesnt have what is needed to be in supplying the runners into the box. He took his goal well though.

Our best work was on the right so we stopped using that outlet. Just crazy.

That is on the manager.

We will be inconsistent, mainly because we have an inexperienced manager and many inexperienced players at this level. Like previous games this season we have saw that changes were needed tactically and using subs.
Ours changed nothing mainly because we were all out of ideas by that point.

I am more worried by today.

I believe we do have the players but not the gameplan to keep us out of the bottom three

But no wins vs Southampton, Palace, Brentford, Villa, Brighton and Everton.

3 points from those 6.

I think that deserves a moan no?

It’s just a few poor errors namely Coopers brace & Paddy trying to be clever instead of trying the bleeding obvious. Really good first half. Are we a one half team?
I declare my love for Saint Daniel and I can shoehorn him in to any conversation.

I'd be happy to turn into Burnley for a bit, knicking a few 1-0 wins. But then most would whine about the style.

Moans are fine.

Well worn ill informed tropes are just that but there will be plenty.

I cant wait for the WC break so I can laugh at England and Wales

JM with all his talk is blagging it . He's not up to this level and neither are most of the players. Honeymoon over now let's see how he can get these fookers moving up cos right now I see nothing in this squad that's gonna keep us up this time.

Agreed, all the early warning signs are there. JM is starting to look more and more out of his depth. All the smart rhetoric counts for nothing when it's not evident on the pitch.

We have a Premier League quality pair of CB's on the roster right now. Unfortunately one of them playing Left Back....

I don't like that we are losing games but I do like that we have been competitive in most of the games. However we haven't played any of the good teams yet so that's a bit concerning. It looks like we are in for another relegation struggle this season. We definitely have to get points off Forest, Bournemouth and Leicester or we will be in real trouble.
We are suffering for our stupidity of not making the very obvious requirements of a LB and a striker and probably a long overdue Pablo replacement.
Still not ready to call for Jesse's head yet but we need to start winning some games.

The problem is there was nothing on the bench to change it up. This is why I was saying we needed another midfielder to provide the engine from the bench, because all we have is Klich and Forshaw, who are both too slow. But we only bought two rather than three.

We replaced the starting xi but did nothing for the bench.

Because whenever I see praise for Radz, it's always that he's not Bates. He will take us down. If he isn't willing to help the club, then he needs to sell.

I’m with you on the end bit. That is a strangely worrying defeat. It’s why I went 5 on his score. Because I’m not totally convinced he’s got the nous to make the right subs and employ the right tactics.
If we had a really decent LB I’d be putting Pascal in his favoured position and Cooper would be benched.
But the striker issue is still a glaring one

Agree on the subs, they are starting to concern me.

Either to late or wrong player or ineffective.

Jesse seems more reactive than proactive which isn't a good trait

I don't think the Harrison on the left works as I said before just because fundamentally in this narrow system him and a partner get in each others way.

But I don't know how Jesse fixes this with what he has? He is so short on quality fit senior players it's daft

You rot from the head down.

If the top recruitment is wrong as ours has been for our entire Premier league life then you will suffer.
