He was rubbish even with Bert lol. Funny how everyone forgets he cost us promotion twice in the same season.

Gelhardt and Summerville are no longer kids. If they had been properly integrated into the team with a run of games rather than cameo appearances we would be getting a better tune from them. Poorly managed in the main by Bielsa but Marsch is not that dissimilar. Marsch made a big point of saying how he likes to use the squad and make changes. Was surprised he played a half fit rusty Bamford rather than playing either Summerville or Gelhardt. That crystallises the fact they rarely get a chance.

So someone like you knows more about the player than 2 managers that are with them on a daily basis, ....yeah reet.

Unfortunately, because we haven't got anyone better. Cooper is now in his eighth season at Leeds & to be honest we should have been looking to replace him but powers that be reckon he is up there with the best so until our mindset changes we are stuck with Coops due to the fact Llorente is so poor. Our options are limited all over the park.

Koch is having a decent season now he has overcome his long term injury & playing is his natural position.

Pascal has also done well.

I have to say I don't have faith in Orta & what he considers a good defender.

I think it was more about quality. Meslier didn't make one notable save - a couple of simple ones. They played out of the press a lot better 2nd half and executed a lot better than us in the final third. Just better quality.

Palace have had 9 seasons in the top flight. We've had 3. For a few of those 9, Zaha was their only quality player. They've been able to supplement that over the last few years. As a result, they've got much more quality across the pitch than we do.

Tactically we need to know how to be more competitive and how to adjust when Plan A stops working.

You're entitled to change your opinion Paul, but I think you were angry in the heat of the moment. The result was down to individual errors rather than the system imo and Palace have more quality in the final 3rd.

There is no Manager currently in MLS that is ready for the Premier League. And I had forgotten about the "exhibition league" exchange. But I'm sure it was more about that terminology than anything else. A lot of Brits use hyperbolic language to disparage MLS. Pub League is another one... Hope you didn't take it personally.

Surprised you want him sacked Paul. Respect your opinion but you were a 6 the other day so can 1 game change it that dramatically. I mean who isn’t disappointed with the Palace game but some serious individual errors cost us. They really changed the game. I don’t think JM is the future but I think he’ll keep us up. And sacking him for who? Some quick fix numpty. Don’t see whose out there as Poch is a pipe dream. He ain’t coming here

Angry in the heat of the moment for sure. But the frustration has been building since the Everton match.

I will agree that it's hard to judge the system as we have not seen all of it yet. Jesse's system requires the fullbacks to get forward and contribute to the attack in wide spaces. And we've not done that. Rasmus is still adjusting to the Premier League. And Firpo has been injured so we have no idea how he will perform in the system. Without fullbacks that can get up and down the pitch we are left to attack with 4 players. And the system breaks down.
