Played well today no blame on officials for that result. Diabolical finishing is your problem. Simple really.

Sickening to lose that.
Our best 45 minutes this season by a mile.
Still don't understand only giving Joffy a few minutes when you need a goal but JM can't be blamed for the missed penalty or the miss by Summerville.

Real shame that, deserved at the very least a point.
Jesse got nearly everything spot on (for his style)
Best i've seen us, watched all the full 90 with no distractions.
Does the Chelsea 3-0 some justice, not much but some.

Those calling for a striker - harsh. Bamford a top striker, but needs a little more time to come back. Gelhardt off bench is a great option. Rodrigo was great in an attacking sense first half.
Bamford isn't the problem.
For me, we only get another striker if we move Rodrigo on. Bamford still has a big role to play for us.

Gutted
Deserved to win that never mind draw.
Should have scored 3 or 4 second half alone, just not enough quality in attack (how sick i am of saying that or reading that).
Aresenal score because of our own errors and we cant score one of the 3 or 4 or 5 chances we have.
And if that pen late on had been reversed then Arsenal get it and our player takes a walk, absolutely no doubt.
Played well 2nd half.
Arronson, Sinisterra, Roca in particular i felt.
Bamford doing the hard yards made a difference but at the same time his lack of quality cost us a couple of goals to.
Rodrigo and Harrison both need dropping
Felt the back 4 did well after Struijk struggling first half, once he got tight to Saka it was good.
Kriostensen another great game. Cooper and Koch handled Jesus well.
Adams was busy (but his lack of technical ability is an issue)
Summerville was lively to i felt, but should have scored.
Gelhardt clearly is a last resort for Marsch, not sure what Bielsa and now Marsch had against him.
Proud but so so disappointed
Commentator banging on about how Arsenal came proved there title credentials, felt the opposite myself. Been impressed with them ubntil today, we should have battered them 2nd half and had nothing to do with there defending, cut them open easily many times.

Would have preferred Joffy for Klich. Our energy was hurting them. Klich started slowing things down again

Sorry Bud but Bamford ain't a top striker never was never will be. We NEEDED a top striker a poacher a goal scorer along with the non existent Creative Midfielder.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:44 pm Those calling for a striker - harsh. Still can't believe that Rodrigo pass.
I understand what he was trying to do but there were so many safer, more sensible things he could have done.

Problem with Bamford is whilst he clearly needs minutes to get sharp he will cost us goals and points whilst he does, we arent in a position where we can afford to drop points.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:44 pm Those calling for a striker - harsh. He should have about 4 goals from Palace and Arsenal.

Agreed, but surely he deserves and requires more than five minutes at the death to make a difference and gain experience.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:44 pm Those calling for a striker - harsh. Top striker in our side has 7 /8 on chances created. That's without a really creative midfield player

Not sure Arsenal proved their credentials getting completely out hustled and overrun by a relegation candidateCjay wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 3:44 pm Gutted

As for Bamford, it's just rustiness. He just can't get the ball out of his feet, get it to drop in the right place for him. Super low on confidence. Wish we'd had Rodrigo or Klich on for the penalty. Would rather Bamford didn't take it. But thought probably was, he scores his 100th goal, breaks the dry spell and gets going again. Still ... lots of positives from Paddy. He makes us much better

Watched it on BBC text. Everything on there says what else could we have done and not scored. Sounds like a great game. If only we could have got a point at least.
Gutted. We obviously are a very decent team at home and that will keep us up i’m sure

How many more chances and excuses is he gonna get though? He couldn't even hit the target from the penalty spot. Remember his great season came with no fans in the stadiums.

We were clearly the better side. Understand what Jesse means when he says nothing's wrong we just need to score goals. The system worked exceptionally well today. Even first half, utterly dominant in the second.
I imagine the players are just as angry and frustrated as we are. Now we need to batter Leicester.
