He made us tick down the middle today, can't believe he is receiving so much flak.
Nothing wrong with the performance of Bamford in general play and the team 64.
But you must concede when the pressure is on he wilts. Chances just come and go for our Patrick even when fully fit. Enjoyed the game yesterday by the way 🙌

Here i'll give it one....FFS YOU GIT, BERT HAD FCKING PROBLEMS ALL SEASON, THIS c**ts GOTTA FULL SQUAD AND STILL CAN'T GET A FCKING POINT THE USELESS c**t ! ...THEY'RE NOT FCKING LIGHTYEARS IN FRONT OF BERT'S FRST SEASON THOUGH ARE THEY ???

Now ffs can you please stop referring to the fantastic Bert years, he's gone and apparently not coming back, and some here get quite fcking upset if you raise his name ffs.
I would say that the Chelsea and Arsenal matches were light years ahead in terms of performance compared to what we managed last season against the top sides - when generally we couldn't compete and were often battered. And we did get 3 points against Chelsea.

Some of the problems Marsch has inherited have been around for several seasons now - poor finishing and a general timidity in front of goal plus the lousy recruitment from La Liga to name two.

Maybe Jesse not such a s**t manager eh. Give him a real goal scorer & how many more points do we have?
He's got a real goalscorer.. Anything else is grass is greener s**t

Ahh a Leeds special from the Al a Carte side of the menu....The Glorious defeat, serves 1 million. Makes you feel great at the time but ultimately empty calories. We should know we've probably had more portions than any other fan. As a dish it's wonderful as an aperitif though... Main course Thursday, dessert Sunday? ... or back to leftovers?

To paraphrase James if we hadn't seen such riches we could live with being poor.....

Bamford is a fine pen taker as is Klich tbf but everyone misses pens, though maybe not that badly. In a bubble it was Leeds outplaying one of the big 6 and trust me Arsenal didn't come to ER to sneak a win, they wanted a second and third.

I mean Rodrigo won't do that again for sure and Paddy scores his next pen when we get one, probably next season.

He scored after 30 seconds of coming on, but the referee called a foul on Saliba, I'm unconvinced with the decision from where I was standing. With no Rodrigo or Klich on the field Paddy was the natural choice, I did notice Paddy immediately grabbed the ball more or less saying no one is having this. Sinisterra is probably our most accurate shooter but I would imagine he is down the pecking order for taking penalties.

We lost to four of those clubs last season, in fact Palace was our only victory against that lot with a Raphinha penalty in the 90th minute at ER.

Klich was the regular pen taker was he not . I'd have been more confident. Goal he eased Gabriel out the way foul these days I'm afraid.

Klich didn't come on until twelve minutes after the penalty, unsure whether Paddy would have given the ball to Klich if he was on, I doubt it.

Last penalty Bamford took was v QPR and he missed. At a time when there was immense pressure on him and he was desperate for a goal. He just isn't a pressure player. 100% he'd have missed v Brentford.

I don't think he was in a great frame of mind before taking the penalty. He didn't look confident at all, but he felt compelled to take it. If that was the case, at least get it on target no excuse for that.
