Performance analysis tools for the first time in a while have us overperforming our erm performances.

Means the tactics arent working and surprisingly the players are doing better than they should

We are 14th

Should be 16th.

And 3 of the current bottom 4 should be above us.

If it was me I'd bench him for the next game and start Gelhardt.
There's definitely a player in there but it's just not happening for him at the moment.
I said the exact same thing earlier in this match thread.

Yeah, stupid defensive errors costing us points every match

I also saw Ayling and Struijk getting forward in certain spots. What I didn't see was a creative attacking midfielder that could pull some strings. I've been saying that Aaronson is NOT that player.
The ' too narrow ' mantra is the stick that some use to beat Marsch with. Whether it's true or not is immaterial.

The fact is that if you are the first team in the top-flight to concede an average of at least two goals in a full year since Coventry in 1984 then it doesn't matter which manager you have - you will struggle.

And we've been looking for a creative attacking midfielder for about 5 years and have failed. Over to you Victor...

Our defence is constantly on the verge of implosion. Every team knows that to press high on us is the easiest way to score against us. The lack of confidence and the dire quality of passing means calamity is only moments away.

We conceded 2 to a team that has only scored 13 so far this season, and we were so lucky that wasn’t 3 with Antonio’s late lunge. This is not getting better. Unless we dig in as in a full team defence, like at Newcastle, we will concede. It’s Marsch’s job to sort this out and it isn’t happening.

More points thrown away and a full on relegation battle incoming until this is fixed.

20th Bournemouth
19th Forest
18th Everton
17th Palace
16th Leeds

That will be an issue because whether people like it or not analysis tools will be a huge part of Jesse's job security.

Palace is an interesting one. I can see them going on a poor run and slip down the table.

How comes Southampton are above us?

Think Southampton, Bournemouth and either Forest/Everton go down.

It's a narrative that many have bought into. But it's not backed up. And frankly we hear about all this width that we played with under Bielsa. Which is also a canard. Go back and watch all of our goals from our Championship season and our first in the Premier League. We were not scoring from balls delivered from wide spaces. We were scoring because we had six and seven guys crashing the box. Our chances were created from balls played from the edge of the box or through the narrow channels. Our execution was much better in those days. Is that coaching? Or is it that some players got old. And others, like Pablo, got old and left the club? T

The one concession I would make is that under Bielsa we committed more players into the attack. We also gave up a metric s**t ton of goals......

The amount of stick Harrison gets for playing a similar position is baffling when you count up his goals and assists.
Aaronson is at his best when playmaking from the right or left side. But he hasn't even done that very well since August....

Just fine margins and Sod’s law we get punished more often than not when we make a mistake. The second goal was a bit of worldly in terms of where he managed to put the ball from 25 yards. The back pass was a mistake but he still had a lot to do.

We crafted two excellent goals and had the chances to win in it in the last 20 but such is the brutality of this beautiful game. Blaming Marsch for not getting a win is just lazy.

Adams was terrific and hopefully any who thought Gnonto is average (18yrs old ffs) are totally clueless.

Rodrigo has now hit double figures for the season. I know it's a crime to give Jesse any credit, but he has turned him into the player we spent big money on. 👍

So can I.

It's a credit to the job they have done building the squad tbf

People like Eze and Olise giving them the quality to nick results.
