Michael Skubala the U21 coach would seem to be the logical choice until the new manager comes in.

Although he does come accross as the english version of Marsch.

Where abouts in Suffolk are you? I'm a Wakey lass, Leeds United supporter since 1970 (the fab Revie era) but for the last 30 years I've lived in Suffolk (just outside Ipswich)....

I’m suffolk born and bred, but my dad was born In Yorkshire and did a stint working up In Leeds when I was a kid and that’s how I ended up supporting them, I’m from just outside Haverhill, but currently laying my head in Beccles. I was out In Ipswich the other night, there’s some nice little towns and villages out that way

That is true, but Armas is only in the door so he really knows nothing. Probably lands on Maric for Wednesday.

Wonder could we fly Pablo in tomorrow, just for the week? Couldn't be any worse than what's there.

Obvious choice for permanent replacement is Alexi Lalas. Don't know if his ego could fit in the door though.

I think you will find many stick around for club and/or the American players. I follow Leeds right now as my 2nd team in the PL due to the players and the history of club, never because of JM. I just hope US Soccer is not crazy enough to make him our national team manager.

Orta did not want Marsch to be sacked but his hand was forced. Rumours of a board split yesterday. Maybe 49'ers made this happen?

We go 1-0 down v Scum on Wednesday and his name bellows out around the stadium.

' MARCELO BIELSA !....MARCELO BIELSA ! MARCELO BIELSA ! '

Radz realises what professionalism and detail he brought to him, and gets on his hands and knees.

Bert listening in Argentina to the fans chanting his name, brings a tear to his eye, knows he has unfinished business, rings Cooper...

"i've been discussing it with Luke, PB, Jack and we all want you back Bert"

I can't shake my interest and attachment to the club overnight but likely won't post here as often as I planned to. It was a bit naive to join the forum in the first place and expect to be taken seriously...it's your club & community after all.

Anyway I guess my parting thoughts are simple: JM should've been sacked long ago. From an outsider looking in at his career, it was never as good a fit as he claimed and he should've recognized the problems (and his weaknesses) before accepting the job.

His legacy, if you can call it that, is mainly tied to signing Adams for you lot and will hopefully benefit the club in months ahead. I hope they remain in the Prem. I hope the squad uses this change as a spark to find their feet and get more results but I'm disappointed in the season so far.

It seems difficult to parse out exactly who bears responsibility for the self-inflicted issues they faced but Marsch had to go. Whether he thought the current squad was sufficient and could improve OR failed to convince the board to make additional changes...the failure now lies at his feet.

I also gotta admit that whether they'd turned it around under him or not, I'd grown tired of his pressers and interviews. Without real change nothing he said carried any weight or meaning.

Wish him the best in the future but might be wise to take a sabbatical again for a bit.
