When you consider they have beaten City, Liverpool etc at home this season, that's a good result.

Harsh mate. A very in form Manure at their gaff & we’re not happy with a point. But I agree we have to back it up at home & especially in the games you mentioned. Something we didn’t do under Marsch especially against teams around us

As soon as they got one back, you knew the equaliser was coming

Koch weak defending for Rashford's goal.

The McKennie / Adams midfield will only get better.
Rashford was always the potential blight on what could have been.

Good point

Defended well first half and looked threatening.

Faded second half.

But that is now no wins in 7? 8?

We are going to need to beat a so called big 6 team because games are running out.

We are past the point of plucky draws.

Because we were 2-0 up. We've only won 4 all season, so can't afford to keep throwing points away.

One down one to go. If you would have offered me a point before the game i would have bitten off both hands. If the lads would have come away with nothing from that....It may have just broken them. They left it all on the field, but in saying that the goals conceded were poor from us. At 2-0 up i couldn't bring myself to admit we may win this in the end with the introduction of Sancho we hung on for our lives but never stopped trying to get the ball forward when we found some space.

Fantastic game of football. Any prospective manager will hopefully have watched that and know we are 3/4 defensive players from having a competitive squad for the PL.

BGwhite wrote: ↑Wed Feb 08, 2023 10:12 pm A point at OT is brilliant, they'd won the last 12 at home I think. Brilliant all round, Wober is a great buy , the defence was immense overall. That should be a great confidence booster before the return game but let's not get carried away.

No. Not getting carried away. We’ve been here before under Marsch. I thought a point would be good from both Manure games tbh. 2 after that are key. Goodison will be a tough gig

Rashford gets up so well. We haven’t had a defender with aerial dominance since you know who left.

We've got 6 games left against the greedy 6, so we need to start beating them. We can't say 18 points are "free hits".

A nice change, we didn’t let in a goal due to a daft mistake.

I was impressed with McKennie tbh

Put himself about well.

Not convinced technically there is much there or whether asked to properly press.

But did well.

Bollocks, I’ve just seen the deflection that fell into Sancho’s path for their equaliser, I was watching who was in the middle for Shaw’s cross.

NB, selective memory for our second 😁
