What I saw of the game I thought we played well under the circumstances. Southampton came to spoil but despite that we did play some nice football...

Very happy with the three points, it's been a long time since we won a Premier League game.

Just pointing out what I witnessed at the game, today wasn't pretty by any means.

Hopefully, once Gracia has worked with our squad of players over the next couple of weeks, we'll see a few changes in the way we set up & play.

The only thing I have to disagree with - Jimmy should definitely have passed instead of shooting. If he had done so, it would have been a clear chance.

Bad decision and I'm not convinced he was aware of Harrison's position.

If it had been Gnonto in the same situation, he would have made the early pass because he reads the game superbly, more than any other player, which is amazing considering his age.

I’m so happy. We look like a good football team and have the coach and players to stay up. I don’t care about any kind of analysis. Last weekend, the whole day was crappy after the game. I’ve been in a good mood all day (kickoff was at 10 am for me). I think we’re handling Chelsea again. Experimental lineup Tuesday against the Cottagers, I say.

Anyway, some great Mexican food and margaritas for me and the wife tonight. Also, since major league soccer has 29 teams, the Chicago Fire, aren’t playing this opening weekend. I’m guaranteed going to bed happy.

That opportunity happened right in front of me, had Summerville looked up, it was much easier to play Jack in (who actually made a great run into their box), rather than shoot.

That's the difference between the top & bottom clubs, they make the correct decisions!
