19th now with Soton and Wet Spam both playing tomorrow, we could well be bottom by the end of tomorrow. A draw would have been an acceptable result had Bournemouth and Everton not won but now it’s 2 points dropped rather than 1 gained. After this performance, where Brighton showed they were so much the better team, even with 12 games left I can’t see us escaping relegation. (Thats being pessimistic by the way faaip not hating, two words with completely different meanings which cannot be interchanged)!

If the odds us winning every 4 of those games was 85% our chance of beating all 4 would be 52%.
That`s the harsh reality.

No, just interesting because it gives a different perspective. (Easy maths: if you have 4 game with a certain probability you multiply the probabilities of the 4 games.)

Having to rely heavily on other teams not winning is a certain sign of big trouble when you can` t
win games yourself.

A point is better than nothing against a team in very good form.
Agree with this. I think Brighton had slightly more chances today (curious what the xG was), but I thought we looked more dangerous in attack than we have in some time. Rodrigo looks rusty so can’t fault him too much. But with a decent game from Patty and Harrison, there are some encouraging signs. It’s probably maddening to decide which version of Summerville, Gnonto, Bamford, and Harrison is going to show up, but I think we got it about right. Save for Ayling’s defensive struggles, Harrison’s own goal, and perhaps Roca’s radio silence, I think the rest of the team was fairly solid. Based on this, I think we can salvage a point or perhaps three from the in-form Wolves. My glass half full outlook…

Not a good point at all. Home games need to be won here on in. Forget any points away, we really aren't that good to be thinking we'll get any. Everton will stay up again only due to picking up wins at home, same as last season.
