Possibly, depends how the others around us get on but it's there all the same. A big incentive for the players. 6 points from forest & palace should see us create a gap hopefully.
Has to be a win tonight, don't care how ugly it is. Will be a confidence boost and move us out of the bottom three. Don't think it will be easy, but we're at home against the team with the worst away record in the league. As others have said, if we can't win this game.......

On the flip side given our record in terms of 'helping others out when they are in need' it's the perfect game for Forest isn't it ?

Wober for me is the biggest miss at present - although worth noting that in the last 2 matches he played we did concede 2 goals in each of them. If he is still out I hope Cooper starts as for me what we have missed most is someone leading and marshalling the defence. Wober seems to do it well, whereas neither Koch nor Llorente seemed to be that player, Struyjk similarly seems to need to be told what to do. Cooper does it well and for me over the last 2 1/2 years we have looked better when it has been Cooper and 1 other rather than any other combination - until Wober arrived. On Saturday I felt we had no one being the leader and telling others who to pick up etc.
Gnonto is a big miss but with SUmmerville looking back to 100%, Harrison hopefully in a bit of form, Sinistera being back (although looking quite rusty still), Aaronsen picking up a bit and whatever we have with Rutte we should still have enough up front to score or create for Bamford or Rodrigo. Yes I would rather have Gnonto and be starting him but we have good options without him.
Adams and similar to Gnonto I would rather have him available and starting. But it is up to the others to step up and play well. It's time for McKennie to show why he is so highly rated and also Roca to show why he has been at Barcelona and Bayern. We're not where we were last season in terms of having to play Koch in midfield alongside Forshaw. We have players that are in their rightful positions and are supposed to be pretty good.
Bamford and Rodrigo should be fine to get us through this run of games in quick succession. I expect to see Bamford start and Rodrigo come on for half an hour and then possibly the other way round. We don't need either one of them to play the full 90 minutes in each of 3 games in the space of a week. Rodrigo ha looked rusty but took his goal well and has now had a further 2 weeks to get sharper. Bamford has looked like he is beginning to trust his body again and a goal could see his confidence soar.
Leeds have won as many points in the three games they've started the day in the relegation zone this season as they have in the 19 games they've started the day between 11th and 17th. #lufc

I wasn't going to go there, but we do have form for helping teams break their streaks!!!!

I think we have to be bold tonight. Play at a really high temp and stretch them wide for late runners into the box.
This lineup is dependant of player fitness of course.
Not sure of Gnontos availabilty but him, Summerville and Rutter would be great options from the bench if we are chasing the game.

We need to win, playing at home against a team who find it very hard to score, i forecast home win 3-0. Hope we are 2-0 with 15/20 mins to go and sub Bamford and Rods to be ready and fresh for CP match.

See the above all the time and sad really that this is the impression other fans have of the elland road fanbase. I get as disappointed as anyone if not playing well but never resort to booing and jeering our players, hopefully tonight the fans are with the team till the end.

Good stat. Let’s hope it’s another W.
So at some point we were higher than 11th. In the dim & distant past

If fit Id start with both Bamford and Rod, we need to create early chances, get the crowd going.

Leeds United
7/10 = 59%
W: 80%
When the odds are 7/10 the expected chance of winning is 59%, but this team actually wins 80% matches with these odds.
Nottingham Forest
4/1 = 20%
W: 1%
When the odds are 4/1 the expected chance of winning is 20%, but this team actually wins 1% matches with these odds.
