Re: Next Manager
Could we be the club to rebuild Brendan Rodgers' rep? Would he come to the Championship? Could we afford it? I believe he was on quite a lot at Leicester.

Would very much think Rafa and Favre would know not to touch us with a barge pole.
Knutsen may see it as a chance

Was rumoured there was a bust up (was dismissed as gossip) but something clearly is wrong.weasel wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 8:12 pm Me too, get him in and basically it is gives him 4 matches to judge what players he wants to keep for next season. If by some miracle he kept us up great but if not then it is early preparation for next season. I wouldn't have thought he'd be 'too big' to come to Leeds as a likely championship club as despite his success in Norway it would still be a huge step up for him.
For whatever reason something seems to have happened between Gracia and the players as it all seemed so positive until half time v Palace.
No point persevering with Gracia.
Equally no point giving it to Skubala (effectively waving the white flag).
Big name managers wouldn't come near us I don't think.
Knutsen may see it as an opportunity as you say.
Keeps us up and he will have a ton of credit in the bank with the fans and will have had an opportunity to assess the shower of shite we have accumulated.
Sends us down and 0 blame would be his and he still has had an opportunity to assess the squad.
I'd be very keen on that appointment
Continuing as we are or going back to Skubala is utterly pointless.
I like the look of Knutsen as a project coach type.
His style of play, the job he has done in Norway is exceptional.
Suits me

Non sensical. What on earth has happened behind the scenes. How can all the blame be on him. Sack the board. Sack the players. Sack everyone.White Riot wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 11:44 am Yeah, lot's of sources speculating that Javi will be sacked and Skubes will take the reins for the last 4 matches.
Could be some wicked hammering’s next 2 games. Nowhere near the bottom of the barrel yet.

Re: Next Manager
I don't see the point in sacking Gracia if the person replacing him is Skubala.
We sacked Skubala and replaced him with Gracia for a reason.
What's the point going back?

Re: Next Manager
Didn’t really sack Skubala though did we.
But no it is a pointless excercise. Are there many examples of this? A manager coming in that late in the season and getting sacked?
Whatever happened halfway through the Palace game must have been bad

Lee Bowyer . . . .
Or Orta is scouring options in Holland and Spain.
Glad we have our best man on it.

Citeh and Nukey Broon will destroy us. Record defeats incoming.
A few more entries in the Guinness Book of Records.
It'll be two exhibition matches.
KP and Grealer will be getting a few hat-tricks, nevermind Haaland.

Re: Next Manager
The problem is there is no real strategy for next season until this one has played out - Who will the owners be - what will they want to happen. It would take universal approval for what you suggest regarding Knutson to happen. Look at the debacle last time when we invited the Dutch guy over.Cjay wrote: ↑Sun Apr 30, 2023 9:03 pm Was rumoured there was a bust up (was dismissed as gossip) but something clearly is wrong.

I do not sense any clear hierarchy or leadership from top to bottom, when a club is not getting run well the performances on the pitch tend to echo the overall disjointed picture.
