Jeez there are so many 'could be' finals on the way to this 2023 final, it's gotta be the best tourny ever, we've already had one that could be considered a final in France v NZ....and this is the next, the Q/F's of that top half are all gonna be potential finals yet again with Ireland, NZ, Sith Afreeca and France progressing...then the real fun starts !
Yeah - great stuff, but tbh there is a flaw in the system when the groups are drawn so far in advance of the tournament.
How on earth do you have the top 4 in the world all on the same side of the knockout stage.
So, hate to say this, but both England and the pathetic Wallabies have decent chances of a place in the final, but 3 of France NZ, SA and Ireland won't make it.

Yeah, i think they'll realise that after this WC, it is a one off though for so many teams to be evenly matched, never in years and years has it been like this, you could virtually get 3/1 for each of the 4 teams to win it prior to this WC starting, and it's never been so close with the bookies not having a clue, i think NZ are probably 4th favs atm, and that's never happened in my lifetime.

Ahh well, that's the clown and his panic buys for ya.
He's now playing in the Championship and some of these defenders are atrocious, so the jury is still out, but you can only beat what's in front of you, and up to now it seems to be doing him the world of good, whether that be DF, the system, Piroe or whatever, but it's definitely building his confidence and i think he's a confidence player, one of those that just needs to relax.
Yeah, I probably should’ve said could be good. I mean he trashed three players at Ipswich then his pass to Gnonto missed by 40 metres. But potentially an amazing talent. Gnonto easily the most intelligent footballer (for his age) I’ve seen.

I think it might actually be 2 now, because i worked it out wrong and i don't think the QF winners play each other in the top half, they cross over in the semi's and play the bottom half winners.

It was a good solid no nonsense debut Vic from Kamara, didn't particularly do anything sparkling skill wise, but also didn't really put a foot wrong, didn't look out of place at all so must've understood what was needed from him, job done type of performance, and i'd say definitely more to come, it's also a confidence booster for us fans that he's got an alternative, plus there's also Gruev to look at yet.

How could anyone judge when we hardly saw him, I'm hoping this Championship year does him the world of good to adjust to the English game, it might be just what he needed.
I was never on the sell him bus. But I will admit that I judged him a bit prematurely. My first impressions were that he was slow and had a poor first touch. Having watched him a bit now I think those impressions were a result of his completely unorthodox style and movement. His hunched shoulders and loping gait. As it turns out those traits make him really hard to predict.
What is now also apparent is his vision. The boy can pick a pass and execute it. His hold up play is very good. He's big and much more physical than you would think by the way he carries himself.
What I really LOVE about Georginio is he's not afraid to TRY STUFF. The title flicks and tricks. He's got some imagination.

This first point has become more and more evident with each passing match--he's built like a brick s**house but doesn't carry himself that way at all, which is why I think it was hard to notice before. Now I see him bounce off of defenders and they very much feel his presence.
And no one that size should be able to do the things he does with his feet to teammates he can't possibly see for all the defenders around him...a true joy to watch
