Picking grapes for Giffords Hall in Suffolk.
They do a nice Bachus which Swanny would like I would say. Bit like an SB.
Yes, Bachus is a gorgeous wine Jay. We have a vineyard about 2 miles down the road from us just on the River Orwell. We had their Bacchus last year but at £18 a bottle it's only for a treat. :)

£14.95 for the Giffords Hall Bacchus at Waitrose.
Also a rose & another white variety. They do some reds too and sparkling.
Apparently I can be paid in wine at the end of the harvest!

Not quite, Jay.

It's nice living in a rural area away from all the plebs.

A lot of tourists in BSE & it’s absolutely rammed on a weekend especially on Saturday morning. A lot of people look like they’ve been let out for the weekend tbh. But its good for the restaurants, shops & market.

We have lovely neighbours & there is nothing here to attract the tourists.

The last time we stayed in Bury St Edmunds, John Peel's funeral had taken place with masses of flowers outside the church.

BSE was OK.

Ipswich & Lowestoft not for us.

It is a nice old market town, yes we walked around the cathedral.

I assume the sugar factory still exists.

Bowls this morning - Not a good start for my new team

Snack at The Stove/Hutton Cranswick garden centre.

Paid my coach fares at the bank for the next five Leeds United games.

Covid & flu jabs.

May attempt a longish walk in between the heavy rain showers.
