You cannot give the ball away in your defensive 3rd at this level. Poor by Gruev...

We are playing one of the top 4 here maybe top 3. Of course there is going to be a gap at this early stage.
Rodon looked fine against Everton. But I do agree James should not be starting. I would be starting Harrison. He has experience with this sort of situation.
That's because Everton offered nothing

I’ts still about how we react now. How Farke handles the half time. This is where we really learn something.

I agree.
Nmecha for Piroe
Longstaff for Gruev.
Harrison for James.
Bijol for Rodon.
Those would be my sub options at this point. Sooner than later.

This is not what we wanted after Meslier !!!!!
Mes was better on the ball from what I’ve seen so far.

It's nothing to do with substitutions, or being stubborn its about finding a way of playing that doesn't make it easy for the oppo.

We know there is a massive gulf in class between the top of the Championship and the top of the Premier League. We were never expected to complete with Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

But the bottom half of the Premier League is not as good as people make out, that is where there are points to be had and those are the games we need to be getting results.

Agree

May as well change things up. Plan A is not going too well - even though the score flatters Arsenal a bit.

Hard to disagree, James been poor when he's had the ball, Gnonto toiled without success, Tanaka and Gruev given the ball away too much, Piroe not had a look in.

Meh

Don't mind being beaten by a better side but the goals are poor.

Set piece
Insane playing out from the back.

Okafor on maybe for some pace?

They were poor but we controlled the midfield, not had a look in today. Missing Ampadu but not the only reason.

Agree totally.
So now let's change things up sooner than later and let as much of the squad as possible experience playing one of the top teams in Europe.

Most of Saka’s goals are like that one, high into the net to surprise the keeper.
He did it in the game when Bamford missed a pen.
