Got to say its going just as I expected, we aren't on the same level and never expected anything out of this game but agree that we are making some lower league errors.

Im afraid big Piroe fan, but think we need Nmecha's approach in his place right now.
I did ask earlier in the week, is this a game for Nmercha, a No.9 who is strong & has pace.

A 0-0 draw in the second half has a feel good factor about it

We win the ball & then concede it cheaply as we often did in the first quarter, then just when we required a bit of composure to take in the game 1-0 at half-time, Gruev continues the trend.

Feeble defending at the corner for their first goal.

Is Perri, Meslier in disguise?
It's the pressure 1964, good players read the pass before it's played and they're onto us in an instant, no time at all.

Not really, before the goal, we had the best chance and the only one on target

Agree cjay.
Good grief, that's twice in 5 minutes I've agreed with you. I'd better go and get more coffee. :roflmao:

The second goal was a sickener but goal difference could play a part at the end of the season so we can’t go all out and lose by a bagful.

Perri should have dine a Tarkowski and leaned into the flight of the ball a bit and he could have saved it.

Set up to defend not to attack, its a case of damage limitation, at least we are level with Burnley an Sunderland

We need some muscle & pace on at half-time.

He's had two shots. Yeah both were blocked. But it does say that he's been involved in our best attacking moments.

Longstaff / Bijol for Gruev

We can learn a lot in the next 45
Not gonna happen, it won't be until the 75th min for subs.

Harrrison is probably the only player who could hold onto the ball out there.

Funny how you continually slag off the manager then expect him to fix every problem

Agree. If we want to play a target man, it's Nmecha only. Piroe was never a target man in the Championship. And why sign Longstaff for his experience just to stick him on the bench?

No changes. Hmmm. I’d be trying one or two to try and change things.

Unless Farke has asked them to set up differently and test for 10 mins

I really would play this like a friendly now and see what if any, some changes from the bench might make.

Arsenal have gone 15 years without losing at home to a newly promoted team 37-5-0

Just shows the reality of expectation
