Even if we had have got him on loan would there not have been a clause to allow him to go back to Brighton in a case like this anyway ?

Saved myself some time
Did well at Leicester last season
Downside is almost certainly a straight loan as Brighton have been rejecting loans from other clubs because they wanted a buy option.
So short of a change of heart we are developing him for Brighton.

More thinking he's u21 so doesn't need to be registered and all that money we were meant to he spending on Muniz and Paixao hasn't been spent so room for a marquee signing
No issue with Buonanotte just not a fan of straight loans.

I do question why Brighton are letting him go out on loan for a second successive season and do not want to use him?
