Just heard an interesting stat, the 3 clubs promoted this year have scored 19 goals all together, whereas in the last 2 seasons the total goals from the promoted teams have been 7 and 3 from the first 6 games.
Perhaps there is a sea change taken place... a profound or significant transformation or shift in perspective, which is often gradual but far-reaching.

Thats 2 games now we have lost points in the dying minutes of the game, its frustrating to say the least but Bournemouth are a good Premiership side, with good players and a good manager. We have to be realistic and before this game i thought this may well prove to be a game thats just out of our reach as far as getting points from it was concerned. We almost won it and as the season goes on and this team gets better and more experienced in this division then hopefully if we are in similar positions later in the season we can close them out, having learned from games like this.
Some fans seem to be getting ahead of themselves when it comes to beating the likes of these sides, gutting to not hold on, but a good point towards helping us stay in this league.

Considering this season is a priority to stay in the league, its a solid but not perfect progress yet
I will say if this giveaway at the end was against a burnley it would have been unacceptable but like i say bmth are a good team.
Need to build on this for other games get a win next game.

I think today has shown that we can compete with the better teams, rather than just beating a poor Wolves side and an Everton side that we maybe caught at the right time. We competed well against Newcastle and now against Bournemouth, teams that are very decent and play in different ways so it shows we don't just have one set plan and we can deal with different styles. I actually thought Wolves created more problems in the second half against us than Bournemouth did after they went behind.

Its already looking like its going to be very competitive down at the bottom this season. Much more than it was last season. Its a good start from us all things considered, but 1 step at a time as they say.

Bournemouth are a mid table team, regardless of where they are 6 games into the season. And they're a small club too. I expect us to be able to beat teams like this at home. We usually did before we got relegated. And, yes, they've had a couple more years of growth. But I still expect us to beat them at home.
The more defining part though is that we totally deserved to win the game. We dominated the numbers, marginally in the first half and considerably in the second half. We were in a position to win that game. And that's what left the disappointment. We should definitely have had 3 points. But i'll take heart in now knowing that we've proved we're every bit as good as teams like Bournemouth and Fulham and should certainly be able to avoid relegation, comfortably.

Yes, we have competed in all our games, apart from when we fielded a championship line-up at The Emirates.
Bournemouth didn't enjoy our physicality, strength & direct play today.

I felt we learnt from that match. We showed today that we could play out from the back but also were better at choosing when to go long. Mixing it up makes it harder for the opposition cos if they commit to a high press they can be very vulnerable. As such they can't press as effectively as Arsenal did against us. I think we are evolving well and beginning to also mix defence with attack which saw us create clearer chances today than in the other games.
