The positive is we've got the game out the way without destroying our GD

If we could play the full ninety the way we played the second half we'd beat most teams in this league.

Biggest cliche of all time, but a game of two halves. If we show that second half fight consistently we will be okay.

Well done to Farke and the lads
Unlucky, hopefully this means we can turn a page and push on.

Performance of the season, finally some quality from Gruev/Tanaka and Gnonto. Perri excellent, Struijk our MOTM for me, his was the job of dealing with Haaland for the most part and he shut him down

Not sure there can be any complaints about that.

Two games in a row where we have played well but ultimately lost.
Farke showed he is capable of changing things up today but undone by a bit of Foden quality in the end.

Kept Haaland and Doku quiet.
Deserved a point. Farke should be applauded for the 2nd half performance. His changes made the difference.

you've taken some stick from some parts during this game for applauding Gruev - Im with you, he's been immense, especially his grit in the first half when everybody around him was standing and watching. The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 5:03 pm Performance of the season, finally some quality from Gruev/Tanaka and Gnonto. Re: Manchester City v Leeds United Match Thread
Much improve 2nd half
Finally saw the tactics the squad are meant for, more direct and less faffing about.
Fair play DCL for having probably his best game.
Gruev, Tanaka, even Perri 2nd half as well imo
And for Farke for finally changing even if it was a yolo.
If nothing else imo it shows a more flexible coach keeps us up (not one who has been forcing his ideals on a squad built for something else).
Credit for changing at half time but more convinced than ever he needs sacking.
Can't say we deserved a draw as City should have had 4 or 5 first half.
But much better 2nd

Re: Manchester City v Leeds United Match Thread
No idea how I feel, gutted we lost but what a 2nd half. Why couldn’t we have played like this all season ??????
