Slot said he set up to counter Leeds direct approach which led to a dull first half.
With Nmecha missing the tactic struggled anyway.

Two defensive errors gifted Liverpool a dream start to the second half.

Farke went back to basics to change the game, first with the shape then with the personell.

Nope I just judge them fairly on the job they are doing. We are in a better place than we were when Farke entered the building.

You on the other hand disliked Farke before he entered the building and have taken every opportunity to have a go at him, distorting stats, making up your own agenda and making any praise an insult.

Defensively, we were poor yesterday, gifting the scousers early Christmas presents for their goals, two of them coming down our left side once again.

Great comeback with our subs Aaronson, Gnonto & Tanaka excelling to drag us back into the game & earn us a point that seemed lost.

Yes, and their first 2 goals were the faults of our stalwarts Rodon and Struijk. We have to stop fiddling about when in possession in our own half - too much sideways and backwards passing that breaks momentum.

I can't recall Darlow making so many errors.

Sorry, apparently none of the goals we concede aren't Perri's fault.

Let's look at all the goals conceded from our left-hand flank.

It can't be Struijk fault as he is our best defender apparently, and not Gabby as many on here think he is our player of the season.

One point is for certain, is my favourite defender & our most consistent player this season cost us the first goal, and I'm making no excuses for that dreadful pass.

That left flank is problematical I think. Okafor either can't or will not put a shift in; he has the look of a lazy fancy Dan player. He barely tracks back and whilst he likes to run at the defence he is often caught out trying his tricks and flicks. Where the left Wing Back is concerned there is very little in the way of help and / or support from Okafor. Gnonto, whose development seems to have stalled is a bit detter in lending a hand defending but not much but he needs to carry more threat as an attacker

Gudmundsson looks great when be bombs forward but defensively and positionally he looks only marginally better than Junior Firpo. Indeed, so far Firpo was the better attacker. The alarming thing for me is the number of times there is some sort of misunderstanding / mess up between Gudmundsson and Struijk. This partnership looks like it is in need of work and Gudmundsson himself needs to work out whne to bomb forward and when not

By the by all that buggering around along the back line was bound to cost us somewhere along the line and in the last match it did. Occupational hazard playing that way I think

Perri is a bit Marmite at the mo for me. Some poor positioning and decision making but in this last game there were a couple of cracking saves and perhaps a bit at fault for the Pool 2nd gaol

I've never once pretended to rate Daniel Farke, I give him credit if it's warranted imo (if people agree or not is fine). Of course it won't be enough for you and you will pick at it like a scab.

On the other hand I judge based on the same criteria and won't hammer one manager for something but praise another for the same thing.
