Tough watch, missing DCL..... Nmecha happy with on a free but I'm not convinced he's a player who has that quality to hold up play.... Very wasteful passing wise/control etc and doesn't often offer an outlet.
Clear there's a huge drop in quality past the starting 11 who in many positions (as expected for a promoted side) need adding to as is.....
Touch wood (injury record aside) Bornauw has been good so far. Bijol/Stach very decent Gudmundsson and Ampadu too. Just overrun in midfield with a lack of bite/edge to get our passing going in midfield.
As is usual with the standard of reffing in this country and the backbone that English refs lack they seem afraid to give a foul against the home side.
All one way traffic at the moment but if we can frustrate and keep it level we're always in with a punchers chance. Can't fault the effort. Mot.
