I really don’t care what happened between him and Farley: LR is the type of player who could have been real good for us this season (IMO). Thoughts?
He has had 5 appearances off the bench for Valencia amassing 85 mins game time so far this season. Doesn't look like he is setting the world on fire in La Liga.

Doesnt matter what he did in the past, its the now that matters, he isnt with us now so we move on.
Indeed, Greenn, it's a different level, miles above the championship standard.

I posted yesterday, none of the players who started at Burnley, have a season average rating above 6.7, whereas I suspect our best players were around 8/10 in the whole of last season.

He won't be, even more so now as Ramazani is injured again.

Suffering from a quadricep injury.

Reports say up to a month and a half out.

Also according to Spanish media he's struggled for fitness since he arrived hence limited minutes.

Thanks... still don't think we should have let him go, favouring Jack instead.

So Ramazani would have been no good to us in the Premier League.

In theory had he played more football over the last 12 months and had a proper pre season with plenty of match minutes he may have been in a fitter and sharper state imo.

He's got an assist in only 70 odd minutes which is more than you can say for our wingers.

Solomon & James were arguably our players of the season, with Gnonto behind them in the pecking order, so playing bit parts as a sub was always on the cards.

Fans go on about Ramazani, I'd rather we had signed Solomon, unfortunately not to be!

From what I've seen of Okafor, I think he will equip & adapt to the PL more effectively than Ramazani.

It's been gone back and forth with Largie but bottom line he had the best minutes to goal contribution of any player in our squad by a distance last season.

One goal or assist every 98 minutes.

James was 124
Solomon 118
Gnonto 152

Piroe also 118.

Whose to know had he played more we'd have done better possibly? Largie certainly made the most of his minutes.

He also unlike James for example had proven himself in a top European league.

I maintain he was 1 underused in the Championship

But more so than that that 2 letting him go (basically forcing him out) to keep Jack Harrison and Brenden Aaronson is utter madness.

Okafor may do ok, for our sake let's hope so ( but he is a massive fitness worry and one of those players who could easily get injured for a few days originally and not be seen again for months).

Keeping Aaronson and Harrison two basically identical all fart and no poo players but pushing out a genuine potential match winner like Largie was wrong imo.

But here is the contradiction CJAY. You suggest Largie’s injury problems are because he did not get played enough. Out for 6 weeks ?

But then you say Okafor may also be out for an extended period if he gets injured. Incidentally he also did not play a great deal before he came to us. So in effect we replaced one crock with another - is that your point ?

Largie didn't play by managerial choice and had had officially 0 games missed through injury in the league in his last 2 seasons before he arrived here.

Okafor 14 missed.

Largie has had his own injury issues but had shown for multiple seasons he is able to remain injury free

Okafor hasn't had a single injury free season in his career, this is a player who averaged in Switzerland and Austria (teams he was key player so wouldnt be dropped over form and who played in Europe every season) only just over 1100 minutes over 7 seasons.

So my point is Largie had shown with regular minutes even maybe not as a starter he is able to remain available

Okafor has shown he isn't able to remain fit enough his entire career to be available regularly.

Cannot believe your comments re Largie. He is and was a totally waste of money, be great if we could recoup all of the money the club paid for him
Leeds need a great summer 2026 with outgoings and incoming players

Ramazani can't have done much for Valencia since leaving Leeds as we've not seen any rave reports on this thread.

Interesting that they think enough of him to let him have the responsibility of taking a crucial pen.
