Everyone is fit, including Gudmundsson, with the exception of Okafor.
Great news for the end of season run in, our physio team have done well this season keeping players fit & getting them back quickly from injury.

There must be advantage & something special having a good physio team.

I recall only a few years ago posting about all the injuries our squad continually suffered.

Gnonto is a decent defender ... go back and watch some vids. It's a trope he can't defend, he's as good as any forward we have at that. Especially playing out form defence.

With Okafor out does that mean Gnonto gets a chance to start...I think more likely we keep things tight until 60 mins. Then attacking reinforcements once we're 3 nil down ;-)

Zero percent of that happening. At this point I think Farke starts the tea lady over Gnonto

And low center of gravity. I don't know how she manages to run so fast with that tray full of teacups... great balance

Maybe the tea lady can be put to good use prior to the game through reading her tea leaves, and telling us what the result will be ?

Luckily not too long to wait for the Sunderland game after. Hopefully a massive 3 points there and a cruise to the end of the season.
Man City is a free hit. Anything we get from the game is a bonus. Expectation is low.

In reality, Liverpool beating the Hammers and Brighton beating Forest are nearly more important.

I hope we don't set up like in the Arsenal home game. We need to be pressing high and going on the offensive. If we go about it like an away game then we will probably lose.

Arsenal were just too good & strong for us mentally & physically.

Best team I've seen at ER this season by a country mile.

Brighton and Spurs have both taken 4 points from Citeh this season and I wouldn't say either of those is exactly setting the world on fire.

City can be beaten like any other team, and this is not the City who were dominating the EPL, as is the case with Liverpool.

I don't understand this defeatist attitude many of our fans assume when we play City, Liverpool, Arsenal.

If we roll over and watch in admiration, like we did twice against Arsenal, them I'm sure we'll get walloped. But if we go out and get stuck into them then anything is possible.

We showed this in the second half at City.

If you remember in the past Arsene Wenger was usually complaining about the rough house tactics we employed at Elland Road, cos it knocked them out of their stride.

That's football for you!

Just look at our performances against the top clubs as opposed to the lethargic displays at Burnley, Forest & Brighton.

It's all about which team turns up on the day.

The Gooners were on the money from the word go at ER, and we couldn't cope with their superior class or dark arts.

Arsenal destroyed their North London rivals at Tottenham after their disappointing performance at Wolves.

You can't make game comparisons, as it doesn't stand up whatsoever!

Man City aren't the team they were.

If we play with the same purpose and direct intensity we did 2nd half we can trouble them.

If we play like we did first half, slow, sit back ploddyball it will be another training session for them.

At the time it was statistically the easiest half they'd had all season.
