I think you need to present your video evidence cos all the angels so far suggest penalty and the video ref seemingly didn't see the angle either. Statistically how unlikely is that?Cjay wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2026 9:09 pm I better get an apology after all this![]()
If you see the angle from behind DCL didn't fall because he was pushed he fell because he kicked the defenders leg which is why the ball went the way it did and the defender was adamant he got the ball!!!
I had DCL in my fantasy team so don't care but I'm right![]()

Dazzling Dave & his mate unimpressed with Wolves, so much so they both gave their team rating a 1/10.

I've been trying
It showed it on my stream and one post on twitter showed it but was removed by the broadcaster.
Tiz why the ball went away the way it did.

Absolute Farke masterclass today. Given that Rodon was fit, and how important he is to us, Farke could easily have brought him back in to start. Farke instead went with the more attacking James Justin and was rewarded with him scoring the first goal.

Everytime I watch it it looks like a pen... forget the feet, the pen is for the push in the back..... You can't do that.

Give it up Cjay. DCL took a two hand shove to the back. Penalty!!
As an aside, what's more important to you? Your team scores a goal from a penalty or you thinking you won an argument? Never mind, I think I know the answer.....

Yep, correct Paul. A player running on goal, in the box, pushed from behind = penalty. The call was clear.BlackHillsPaul wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 2:24 am Give it up Cjay. DCL took a two hand shove to the back. Penalty!!

Re: Leeds United vs Wolves Match Thread
When football’s resident free-body diagram, the striker, is serenely obeying Newton's laws of motion, his center of mass gliding forward under a neat vector of intent, a sudden push in the back rudely injects an external force vector that upsets his equilibrium; this uninvited impulse shifts the net force from “graceful advance” to “chaotic tumble,” creating a torque about the player’s center of mass that spins him like a satellite off course, courtesy of angular momentum being conserved in the least dignified way possible, while gravity enthusiastically accelerates the now off-balance system toward the turf; the key here is that the attacker did not generate this destabilizing force internally but received it from a defender acting as a rogue vector generator, so the resulting trajectory deviation and collapse are textbook applied mechanics, meaning the referee, in awarding a penalty, is essentially acknowledging that the defender rewrote the striker’s equations of motion without permission, and in the grand tribunal of physics, that’s as guilty as it gets... therefore a penalty. Believe the science.

I agree. It reminded me of some of the championship games when we got in front early and simply coasted to victory without breaking sweat. That's 3 consecutive games we've been 2-0 up but whilst we have clearly tried to keep the neutrals entertained the previous 2, yesterday they were happy to bore the pants off everyone1964white wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2026 6:56 pm Awful game after went 2-0 up, devoid of the quality we showed at OT.
We were poor, but my god Wolves were bad.
I do wonder if they were under instructions to conserve our energy after we had the cushion of a 2-0 lead, thing is once a team takes their foot off the pedal, it becomes very difficult to regain momentum.
Anyway, three points in the bag & safety more or less guaranteed, though I've never had any doubt.

I’d take a boring 3-0 compared to a nail biting, rollercoaster, heart thumping 4-3 every day of the week Foxy. I’m too old for all that stress.foxy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 19, 2026 7:31 am I agree. I'd be happy to see the same against Burnley if it secured the same result.

Once we’re mathematically safe I’d take a 4-3, until then……
