Bournemouth vs Leeds United Match Thread

A point could be crucial. If Spurs were to win 2 and draw 2 then a point keeps us ahead of them. And also Forest and West Ham still below us so a point is a point more for them to have to gain. A point also keeps an unbeaten run going so sends us to Wemblet in good spirits.

Also a point against Bournemouth means that a point in another match and then suddenly 3 wins isn't enough for SPurs.

Draws have been crucial for us this season to keep the points total climbing.

If we Beat Burnley ,as expected, and not into the world of make believe involving Spurs winning all the rest of their games, they will be stuffed (regarding us).
67/1 is available for us to get relegated if you want to avail yourself. My money is staying in my pocket..

We're closer to finishing above Fulham that we are getting relegated.....

Anyone thinking we can still go down has zero faith in Farke ... There are currently zero relegation indicators at ER, there were a few pre West ham but a win in our biggest game of the season so far has been another Man City moment. It took us to Old Trafford with confidence andthen we beat Wolves at a trot

Chelsea is our biggest game of the season ..

I would take a win over Chelsea over a win over Bournemouth any day of the week,as things stand

I honestly think DF will set up for a draw as that gives us 40pts which I think will be enough .I think he might gives the likes of Roden,longstaff ,gnotto,Nmecha a start,defo tanaka a start again .
On another point I think we must get Tanaka on another contract .

But like m'colleague says it isn't a choice. Want to go into the next match and try and win it, happily take a point. If everything was mathematically certain then yeah play Bournemouth with a weakened side but it isn't and who knows whether a point against Bournemouth would make the difference. We could lose all 4 matches after the Bournemouth game, we shouldn't but we could.

Our reason to be is to win matches, compete for and win trophies. I'm hoping the club has the ambition to get back to this way of thinking.

I think we will. Football is cyclical, I'd like to believe we will get back to winning trophies in my lifetime. Football would be better off with us at the top of the tree.

I would imagine we'd be looking to put out strong sides for both games, same as we did v West Ham and Man U.

Beat Bournemouth and we will go into the Chelsea match on a real high. There would be no pressure, no real threat of relegation, no need to rest players.

Lose to Bournemouth and we should still go into the Chelsea match with a strong team. But there would still be one eye on the league especially if results went against us on Saturday.

So for me strong team for both matches and try to win them both. Win or draw v Bournemouth I think improves our chances of beating Chelsea.

I can't see us going to Bournemouth to try for a bore draw. Think we are better when we try to take the game to the opposition. Win, lose or draw I think we will go there to try to win (though if it was level towards the end could see us being happy to try to play for a point - though would probably concede a last minute goal).
