Wow what a signing.

Never ever thought this was possible for a club that was promoted only a year ago.

Well done to Marathe and the 49ers (plus investors) for making this happen.

Tyzy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 06, 2026 6:34 pm Everyone seems happy with this signing so it must be good news. I've never heard of him until I saw him play in England's last game at the World Cup but then I'm not someone who's totally engrossed in football outside of Leeds Utd.
Have a look at our game against Burnley before we got promoted. Trafford was amazing that day.

You must have read that wrong Victor, I’m sure it was Orifice that was mentioned. 😁

Glad to get it over the line. He should be our GK for the next few years now, and if not, we should make a huge profit.

There's a lesson to learn from them, they still get a big fee when a player is surplus to requirements. We need to stop giving ours away for free and start bringing in transfer fees (not just out academy players).

Maybe get him to change his name to somewhere more local. Dewsbury-Hall is taken but must be some other places.

I'm expecting great things from JT. Hoping that he stays with us for his career and plays a huge part in us getting back to winning trophies.

A good goalkeeper makes things look routine. Get the positioning right and you make a comfortable save rather than having to fling yourself accross the goal and making what looks like an amazing save. Pickford is a great example of a keeper who makes eye catching saves but most of the time it is because his positioning is poor.
